You might have noticed we've been gone for a while.
We have decided to take a brief hiatus, to focus on issues more urgent than podcast research.
We live in Florida, a state where COVID-19 cases are rapidly rising, and where we, along with our friends and family, are being asked to return to work in person.
We live in America, where civil liberties are being violently denied by a government that has done little to help it's people during this crisis.
We also live in our bodies, and we're having a hard time focusing on writing and research.
This podcast is something we do simply for the joy of it, so we need to take a break and find our joy again. We hope you'll understand, and that you'll still be here when we get back.

We want to respect the historical significance of this day while also honoring the impact that immigrants, enslaved people, and indigenous peoples have had on this country. Without these important histories and people, America would not be America.
