Is anyone else concerned about the pro-Johnny Depp and anti-Amber Heard talk that’s going around? My ears always perk up when the woman becomes the villian and the man is the poor innocent victim. After all, we have seen this story before (especially with sexual assault) and it is rarely true. This is about a dysfunctional marriage where they both made a lot of painful mistakes. It sounds like it was traumatizing and absolutely awful for both of them.

But why is his behavior forgivable and hers is not?

Maybe they both need help and support instead of more criticism and condemnation.
Maybe we shouldn’t be gossiping about them or judging them when they have gone through an extremely painful ordeal which we only know snippets.

My heart goes out to both of them. I can’t imagine how much they suffered and still are suffering. ❤️‍🩹
