It was a little rough around the edges, but we pulled it off. Had a great time doing our intro video, and learned a few lessons on Facebook split screen videos. They don't work. Or at least not with my phone. I'll come up with a better solution next time.

This year's show will be an introduction to the Flaming Boot Award and a discussion of this year's spicy challenges, with guest hosts in the chili community.

A bit of an update for everyone.

I've decided to make this year's show more of a "year in review" show. There isn't enough time to take votes and coordinate before the show.

That being said, we are going to spice it up a little. I plan to have guests on the show and discussing the challenges that are out there.

Also, I'm going to try to have a monthly segment where we interview reviewers and spicy foods makers.

If you would like to participate in either of those, feel free to message me.

Due to time constraints, we're going to have to either fast track the nominations and voting for this year, or change the awards ceremony to more of an introduction show.

I just recently started this page, so that we could give recognition to the challenges that really made an impact each year, but I realize that we're closing out the year very soon.

Any opinions are welcome.
