Alarm-Clock will will be on WINN MEDIA SKN from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to talk about S*xual Offences: Policy & Activism with some young brilliant minds. Join us as we have an engaging and well informed discussion about the issue!

November 25th marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the beginning of 16 Days of Activism - Orange The World. Activists across the Caribbean are advocating for stronger legislation, enforcement of laws and increased attention to sexual crimes and gender based violence.

We will be discussing:

⏰ Current/existing legislation that addresses GENDER BASED VIOLENCE in St Kitts & Nevis

⏰ The S*xual Harassment Bill recently debated by the St.Kitts National Youth Parliament Association (SKNYPA)

⏰ The way that our society perceives and reacts to child sexual abuse, statutory r**e, domestic abuse and gender based violence.

⏰ The establishment of a S*x Offenders Registry in St Kitts & Nevis and efforts across the Caribbean by Caribbean Committee Against S*x Crimes to establish a CARICOM S*x Offenders Registry.

For the first part of the show we'll talk to some men to get their views and then in the second half the women will respond. Naeemah is also Vice President of the SKN Chapter of Caribbean Women In Leadership - CIWiL CIWIL SKN so we'll hear about their efforts to actively encourage women to step into the political arena.
