Gai-mariagal Festival 2022 theme is: Nalawala Ngara - Sit down and listen

At the heart of all we do is creating new relationships and understanding between the wider Australian community and the Original Peoples of this land. In order for all of us to continue to move forward, we must continue to focus on positive relationships grounded in the truth.

This year the festival's theme of Nalawala Ngara... sit down and listen, invites us to commemorate and celebrate together, converse and walk side by side towards reviewing and renewing our future together. There are many events planned: workshops, performances, bush walks and art activities. You are invited to come along.

Formerly Guringai Festival, the Gai-mariagal Festival for this week is centred around significant dates:

• NAIDOC Week 3-10 July.

The festival is proudly supported by many organisations of the Northern Sydney region.
