This morning, Matt was talking one of the East Riding’s longest serving school crossing patrols who has hung up her lollipop after 40 years.

Brenda Gunther has been helping children cross Western Road in Goole since 1985. Initially she was just filling in for a friend who went on holiday and the rest is history as they say.

Happy retirement Brenda.
