(A lesson I had to implement after many years of trying to swim)

Don’t settle for swimming over sinking when thrown in the deep waters, because you were made to walk on water.
Walk above the lies, accusations, threats, hate, bitterness, sickness, fears, etc.

In scripture (Matthew 14:22-31), we see where the Apostle Peter walked on water, during a storm. Peter did start to sink, but when he cried out to Jesus, Jesus immediately came to his rescue. (Remember this)
Don’t swim, walk on water (Walk over It)
Scripture says we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:4-9)
As we remember Jesus is sitting in heaven, next to God. (Luke 22:68 – 69, Mark 16:19). When trouble arises, we have the right to walk above it. For example, I suggest praying from a place of victory. Using scriptures to pray and make your request to God. Don’t be consumed by the troubles that arise.

We are given new mercies, we just have to accept it.

Why I soak my dates? Look at the difference between the two images. One has more water content and can digest better. When eating dates that has little to no water content, our body ( intestines) has to draw water from our organs to help break down the food. Many people are already dehydrated, so where will the water come from to help with digestion.
