Has anyone seen me?

My name is Allie and I escaped on Milan Drive on June 19th, in the Forest Hills neighborhood.

My owner thinks I may have ran towards the drain/ditch, that runs behind the houses. She called and called for me, but I never returned home.

I was once a stray kitten, until my owner brought me home. I am skittish around new people, but come to wet and dry food when it’s put out.

You can tell it’s me because the very end of my tail is crooked - we think it was broken a long time ago.

Anyone who sees me - or thinks it could be me, please contact my mom. ❤️‍🩹

MISSING:

Our little Allie escaped from the house yesterday afternoon 😓
And as you all know, we’re moving… we’re devastated.

She got out around 3:30pm near Willow Lane in the Forest Hills neighborhood. She may have taken off towards the drain/ditch area.

She’s solid black and skinny. She also broke her tail when she was super little… so the end of her tail is a little crooked. She can be skiddish - but will likely come to food… or a bag shaking, that sounds like food.

Anyone who knows where she may be - please contact us ASAP! Please help us get our baby home!

On this day, four years ago, we took this picture.
It was the first time I had met Tyler.
We spent the day exploring his home, Cincinnati.
It was obvious to me then how much he loves Ohio!

After meeting him, we spent nearly a year doing long distance, countless “I’ll meet you half way this weekend” and spontaneous weekend trips to Alabama. That’s when we made the choice for me to move down.

Fast forward a few years - we got engaged (in the very spot this picture was taken!), married and welcomed two beautiful babies.

Over the last few years together — Alabama has served as home to us just as much as Ohio.
We’ve met so many amazing people, have worked with some incredible people, have made friends who turned into family and have seen some of the most beautiful beaches and mountains all in our state.

I am so incredibly proud of him for taking the next step in his career… and am very excited for our next journey in Columbus, Ohio!

It’s hard for this Michigan girl to admit… but I’m excited to see what the Buckeye state has in store for our family! 😂

Everyday people walk through our doors and ask us how we survive our line of work. The how always comes from the why…..this is why we do it.

Long term resident Bibb went home today to live his best life with the lovely family that adopted Charlie 14 years ago.
While it was so exciting to see Bibb go home, it was equally heartwarming to stare into the soulful eyes of a pup who truly found his happily ever after. Many of us were here when Charlie went home 14 years ago. It was a powerful moment.

This is our why! If not us, then who?

Over 30 animals went home today thanks to the wonderful folks at WSFA. They have worked relentlessly to spread the word that we NEED our communities participation to save these precious lives! We are so grateful to them and all of the wonderful families that chose to adopt or foster today!
