** Breaking Free From Loneliness **

I recall a time when I felt alone, questioning why others seemed to be enjoying life while I was struggling. Feeling lonely each day led me to sinking into a sense of being unwanted, which eventually led to isolation.

God revealed to me in his word the very answer that I needed. Proverbs 18:24 says that “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

I decided to be a friendlier and nicer person. I tried it and it worked. It actually changed my life.

Breaking free from loneliness is simpler than you might imagine. Here are four steps that you can take:

- Look through your phone contacts and reach out to those you haven't spoken to in a while. You'll be surprised by how much people will appreciate your check-ins.

- Search for "charities near me" online. Plan a visit to explore volunteering opportunities with these organizations.
- Consider volunteering at your local church, especially on Sundays. Many churches require assistance during the week as well. Look for "Small Groups" on the website and sign up for one that interests you to meet and build relationships with even more people.

- Join a club or an organization around something that you enjoy like a hobby or something that you’ve always wanted to learn or do.

You'll be amazed at how many people are eagerly waiting to meet you, and connect with you.

Remember to pray and ask God for help and guidance as well. Look at what the word of God says in Matthew 7:7-8, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

** Conquering Worry by Trusting in GOD **

Did you know that worry is defined as a state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems?

If you find yourself worrying, it’s because you’re focusing on the wrong thing: the problem itself, rather than the many possible solutions.

It’s all too easy to let our minds fall into the pit of fear and worry.

Over the years, many of my business coaching clients have confessed that worry and anxiety are what they need deliverance from the most. To overcome the pit of worry, you must take your eyes off all the problems around you and focus on what you actually want to happen.

Don't think about the "How"; think about the "What." The reality is that no one but God truly knows how anything is going to happen or how it will finally work out.

"How" is in the future where God resides, so leave your future in His hands. Focus on the "What" of today.

Staying present-minded with a hopeful and intentional “I Can Do What I Can Do” attitude today will help your tomorrows grow even brighter.

I know it can be frustrating not having all the answers, but remember that God's word instructs you to:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

This passage gives you the spiritual keys to victory over the spirit of worry.

You can and will walk in victory when you put your trust, hope, and faith 100% in the LORD. That means not trusting in anything else, including your own understanding.

God’s ways are not your ways; He alone is all-knowing and all-powerful. You can put your trust in Him to work all things out for your good.

Today's Action Step >>>
Read Proverbs 3:5-6 repeatedly until you believe what it says.
Then, write a prayer of thanksgiving using this verse, and say it out loud to God. Thank Him for all that He has done, all that He is doing, and all that He will do.

Then save this message and come back to it anytime worry tries to creep back into your mind and heart. Then and only then will worry truly be defeated.

Do this exercise now. The Holy Spirit is waiting to help you walk in Purpose and Power.

** DISCOURAGEMENT **
I recently had one of my coaching clients share with me that she is battling with discouragement. This is what I shared with her to help her stand in her power and walk according to the purpose and plan that God has for her life:

"We are all on a journey towards the purpose for which God created us. On that path are many obstacles that we must learn to overcome.

In order to defeat the "Spirit of Discouragement" you must first know and understand what it is. Discouragement is made up of a few different things.

At its core discouragement is disappointment, confusion, fear, and unfounded anger at God because we don't trust nor understand his timing for the things that are happening in our life.

You must make a decision today that no matter what lies ahead on your Path to Purpose, that God is with you each day, and that's all that matters. In order to endure and experience victory in this season you have to do 3 things.

The first thing is you must increase how much you pray and read God's word each day. Find a good daily devotional, and stick to it.

The second thing you must do is you must fill your mind and your mouth with the praise and worship of God daily. Play Christian music as much as possible and keep playing it in your house and car. Sing the songs that you know and meditate on the lyrics as you listen. God's word says that he inhabits the praises of his people.

The third thing you must do is journal and write an "Attitude of Gratitude " list. The way to overcome discouragement is to remember what God has already done for you. Make a list and make it long adding to it daily, so that you can remind yourself about how good and faithful God has been to you."

I hope and pray that this helps you to get up and stand in the power of the Holy Spirit that is within you, and that you are encouraged to walk in Purpose and Power.
