New Delhi: Real estate developer Supertech was declared bankrupt by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Friday in a move that could have an effect on 25,000 home buyers. The company law tribunal took the decision in response to a petition filed by the Union Bank of India (UBI) for non-payment of dues.
A NCLT bench allowed the plea filed by UBI, a financial creditor, claiming default against Supertech, and appointed an interim resolution professional superseding the board of the company.

In response, the developer stated that it will file an appeal with the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) against the NCLT move.

"As all the projects of the company are financially viable, there is no chance of loss to any party or financial creditor. The order will not affect operations of any other Supertech Group Company," the real estate firm said.

आयोजन के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए सामाजिक न्याय विभाग के उप संचालक श्रवण कुमार पचौरी ने बताया कि बुधवार को ग्राम जैत में संकल्प नशा मुक्ति केंद्र व समाजिक न्याय एवं नि:शक्तजन कल्याण विभाग जिला सीहोर के संयुक्त प्रयासों से नशा मुक्ति जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें संकल्प नशा मुक्ति केंद्र के परामर्शदाता आनंद व्यास, राकेश शर्मा के अलावा सामाजिक न्याय विभाग धर्मेंद्र ताम्रकार, नवल किशोर मालवीय, एकता आजीतिका ग्राम संगठन की ओर से समूह की अध्यक्ष सुषमा सोलंकी, रामकली सोलंकी सरपंच शामिल हुए।

इस दौरान नशा मुक्ति केन्द्र के संचालक राहुल सिंह ने कहा कि नशा, नाश की जड़ है। यह करता तन, मन, धन नष्ट, किसी भी प्रकार का नशा आप के परिवार एवं आपके सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा को क्षति पहुंचाता है। नशे से शरीर अनेक बीमारियों से ग्रसित होने के साथ ही घर परिवार की सुख शांति समाज में मान-सम्मान आदि सब कुछ नष्ट हो जाता है। नशे की पूर्ति के लिए कई लोग गलत कार्यों में भी लग जाते हैं और अपराधी भी बन जाते हैं। समाज में उन्हें हीन भावना से देखते हैं। नशा करने वाले लोगों के परिवार से भी ज्यादा संबंध नही रखते हैं। उनकी सारी कमाई व धन-दौलत सब कुछ नशे में ही खर्च हो जाता है। वे अपनी सारी जमीन जायदाद घर आदि बेचकर भी नशे की जरूरत को पूरा करते देखे गए हैं, जिससे उनका समाज में कोई सम्मान नहीं बचता, उनके घर में खाने-पीने तक को कुछ नहीं बचता है। बच्चे भी पढ़ लिख नहीं पाते हैं और वे भी गलत कार्यों में लग जाते हैं।

अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने कहा है कि यूक्रेन पर रूसी आक्रमण के खिलाफ समर्थन दिखाने के मामले में भारत कुछ हद तक अस्थिर हो रहा है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि अमेरिका के अधिकांश दोस्तों और सहयोगियों ने व्लादिमीर पुतिन की आक्रामकता से निपटने के मामले में एक एकजुटता दिखाई है। 24 फरवरी को रूसी सेना ने यूक्रेन में सैन्य अभियान शुरू किया था, जिसके तीन दिन बाद मॉस्को ने यूक्रेन के अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों डोनेट्स्क और लुहान्स्क को स्वतंत्र क्षेत्र के रूप में मान्यता दी थी।

नाटो को विभाजित नहीं कर सके पुतिन
बाइडन ने सोमवार को सीईओ के एक व्यापार सम्मेलन में कहा कि एक बात का मुझे विश्वास है, पुतिन को अच्छी तरह से जानने के साथ-साथ मुझे लगता है वह नाटो को विभाजित करने का भरोसा कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कभी नहीं सोचा था कि नाटो पूरी तरह से शांत और एकजुट रहेगा। मैं आपको आश्वस्त कर सकता हूं कि नाटो अपने पूरे इतिहास में आज की तुलना में कभी भी इतना मजबूत या अधिक एकजुट नहीं हुआ है और ऐसा पुतिन की वजह से हुआ है।

जापान और ऑस्ट्रेलिया रहे मजबूत
बाइडन ने कहा, लेकिन उनकी आक्रामकता के जवाब में हमने पूरे नाटो और प्रशांत क्षेत्र में एक संयुक्त मोर्चा बनाया है। क्वाड है, जिसमें भारत के कुछ हद तक अस्थिर होने के संभावित अपवाद हैं। लेकिन जापान और ऑस्ट्रेलिया पुतिन की आक्रामकता से निपटने के मामले में बेहद मजबूत हैं। पिछले महीने बाइडन ने कहा था कि भारत और अमेरिका यूक्रेन के खिलाफ रूसी आक्रामकता के मुद्दे पर अपने मतभेदों को सुलझाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।

New Delhi: China Plane Crash: A China Eastern passenger jet has crashed in southwest China and caused a mountain fire with an unknown number of casualties, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said.

The jet was a 6-year-old Boeing 737-800NG aircraft and was carrying 132 people. It had 123 passengers and nine crew on board. The People's Daily quoted a provincial firefighting department official as saying there was no sign of life among the scattered debris.

The plane crashed in the rural countryside near Wuzhou city, Guangxi region and "caused a mountain fire", Chinese state media CCTV said. One villager told a local news site that the plane involved in the crash had "completely fallen apart" and he had seen nearby forest areas destroyed by a fire caused when the plane crashed onto the mountainside.

The aircraft involved wasn't a new-generation Boeing Max jet, the model involved in previous fatal crashes. The re-engined Max narrow-body was grounded in March 2019 in the wake of fatal crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia. That particular make of plane still hasn't returned to commercial service in China.

उत्तर प्रदेश के बुलंदशहर जिले के दिल दहला देने वाली वारदात सामने आई है। यहां खानपुर थाना इलाके में एक युवक ने गांव के करीब 10 लोगों पर फावड़े से हमला कर दिया। हमले में तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई। जबकि कई लोगों की हालत गंभीर बताई जा रही है। जिन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, खानपुर थाना इलाके के परवाना गांव में सोमवार सुबह एक युवक ने गांव के ही 8-10 लोगों पर फावड़े से जानलेवा हमला कर दिया। हमले में 3 लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। जबकि अन्य घायलों को गंभीर हालत में हायर मेडिकल सेंटर भेजा गया है।

आरोपी वारदात के बाद से मौके से फरार है। कुछ लोग आरोपी को मंदबुद्धि बता रहे हैं, तो वहीं कुछ लोग उसकी मानसिक स्थिति ठीक बता रहे हैं। हालांकि, अभी तक वारदात की वजह स्पष्ट नहीं हो सकी है। सीओ स्याना और एसपी सिटी मौके पर जांच पड़ताल में जुटे हुए हैं।

देशभर में इन दिनों फिल्ममेकर विवेक अग्निहोत्री और उनकी हालिया रिलीज्ड फिल्म द कश्मीर फाइल्स चर्चा में हैं। यह फिल्म बीते कई दिनों से अपने प्रदर्शन में लगातार बढ़ोतरी करती दिख रही है। ऐसे में फिल्म की बढ़ती लोकप्रियता के बीच निर्देशक विवेक अग्निहोत्री ने एक पोस्टर साझा कर हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री से रेवाड़ी में फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग पर रोक लगाने का अनुरोध किया है। दरअसल, पोस्टर शेयर करते हुए विवेक ने रविवार शाम को क्षेत्र में होने वाली फिल्म के निशुल्क स्क्रीनिंग को रोकने का निवेदन किया। कथित तौर पर पंचानंद नामक एक समूह के जिला प्रमुख द्वारा फिल्म की स्क्रीनिंग करने का एलान किया गया है

Dhaka: A mob of over 200 people attacked devotees and vandalized the ISKCON Radhakanta Temple in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka on Thursday.
"Last evening when devotees were preparing for Gaura Purnima celebration, a mob of 200 people entered the premises of Shri Radhakanta Temple in Dhaka and started vandalising it," Radharamn Das, Vice-President ISKCON Kolkata told ANI.

"Three of our devotees were injured. Fortunately, they called Police and were able to drive away miscreants from the temple premises," he said.

Mr Das said that the attack is a matter of grave concern and appealed to the Bangladesh government to take stringent action and provide security to Hindu minorities in the country.

This incident comes after a series of attacks on minority religious places in Bangladesh that took place last October.

New Delhi:

Shortage of accommodation in Jammu and Kashmir has left no choice for the Central Reserve Police Force other than occupying the abandoned homes of Kashmiri Pandits, hospitals, schools, hotels and even temples.

The Central Reserve Police Force, or CRPF, has been stationed on some 737 premises in Jammu and Kashmir.

"We will vacate the houses of Kashmiri Pandits, which are currently occupied by the CRPF, if any family or families ask us to. The government will definitely provide us some other location for jawans," CRPF Director General Kuldiep Singh said.

The CRPF's data show it occupies one school, one hospital, two cinema halls, eight orchards, 26 industrial units and factories, 30 hotels, 71 agricultural lands, 265 other private buildings - which includes the homes of Kashmiri Pandits - and 333 other government buildings.

The CRPF said these places have been provided by the local administration and it pays rent for them.

Last year, forces in Kashmir valley were reorganised in some sectors due to increasing violence, which resulted in a greater concentration of battalions around Srinagar area.

The global rating firm, which had raised India's GDP growth number for 2022 from 7% to 9.5% less than a month ago, said it was now scaling down its global growth outlook and raising inflation projections in light of the spurt in commodities prices, supply shortages, business disruptions and the dented sentiment to geopolitical strife.

India was particularly vulnerable to high oil prices as it was a large importer of crude oil, although as a surplus grain producer, its agricultural exports could gain in the short term from the global high prices, Moody's said.

“High fuel and potentially fertiliser costs would weigh on government finances down the road, potentially limiting planned capital spending,” citing these as the reasons for the lower growth forecast by 0.4 percentage points. India stood to benefit on wheat exports, for instance, Moody's pointed out.

While the magnitude of damage to the global economy would depend on the duration and scope of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Moody's said the recovery had been dented but not derailed yet. However, alternative downside scenarios envision a global economy tipping into recession, even as other risks such as new COVID-19 waves, monetary policy missteps, and social risks associated with high inflation, could dampen the growth outlook.

Poland will not send fighter jets to Ukraine: President Duda

Poland is not going to send fighter jets to Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Tuesday.

On Sunday, EU foreign ministers agreed to supply 450 million euros ($500 million) worth of arms, including fighter jets to the Kiev forces amid the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

"We are not sending any jets to Ukraine because that would open a military interference in the Ukrainian conflict. We are not joining this conflict. NATO is not a party to this conflict. We are supporting Ukraine with humanitarian aid, however we are not sending any jets to the Ukrainian airspace," Duda said at a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine is "a moment of truth for Europe" and the future of the continent is at stake, EU chief Ursula von der Leyen said Tuesday.

जिला स्तर पर इस अभियान का आगाज विस उपाध्यक्ष हंस राज ने बच्चों को पोलियो की दवा पिलाकर किया। इस अवसर पर डॉ. हंसराज ने कहा कि भारत पोलियो मुक्त देश है। कुछ पड़ोसी देशों से पोलियो वायरस संक्रमण फैलने की आशंका रहती है।
सरकार के निर्देशानुसार समय-समय पर इस तरह के अभियान चलाए जा रहे हैं ताकि भविष्य में पोलियो का कोई मामला न आए। उन्होंने कहा कि चंबा भौगोलिक दृष्टि के अनुरूप दूरदराज और पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में आता हैं। इसलिए चंबा से इस अभियान की शुरुआत की है और आज जिला के सभी क्षेत्रों में अभियान के तहत 5 साल तक के बच्चों को पोलियो की खुराक पिलाई जा रही है। विधानसभा उपाध्यक्ष ने लोगों से आग्रह किया है कि वह 5 वर्ष तक की आयु के बच्चों को नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में ले जाकर के पोलियो की दवा पिलाना न भूलें।

उन्होंने कहा कि पोलियो भयंकर रोग है। इसे दवाई से ही रोका जा सकता है। मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ. कपिल शर्मा ने बताया कि 5 साल से कम उम्र के सभी बच्चों को पोलियो वायरस के खिलाफ टीकाकरण द्वारा पोलियो को खत्म करने के लिए अभियान चलाया गया है। इसके तहत आज जन्म से 5 वर्ष तक की आयु के सभी बच्चों को जिला भर में पोलियो की दवा पिलाई जा रही हैं।
जिला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. जालम भारद्वाज ने बताया कि जिला में 542 बूथों पर 52604 बच्चों को दवाई पिलाई जाएगी। इस अवसर पर जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी डॉक्टर हरित पुरी डॉक्टर करण हितैषी, डॉक्टर शैलजा भी उपस्थित रहे।

New Delhi: Russia has praised India's "independent and balanced" position after New Delhi abstained from a UN Security Council vote that deplored Moscow's "aggression" against Ukraine. India, along with China and the UAE, did not vote on the resolution Friday, a move in line with the fine balance Delhi has sought to strike between partnerships with Moscow and Western allies.
The Russian embassy in India welcomed India's stand on Saturday.

"Highly appreciate India's independent and balanced position at the voting in the UNSC," it said on Twitter. "In the spirit of the special and privileged strategic partnership, Russia is committed to maintain close dialogue with India on the situation around Ukraine."

Despite being the world's largest democracy and a member of the "Quad" grouping with Australia, Japan and the United States, India has neither explicitly condemned Moscow's actions, nor called them an invasion so far.

New Delhi and Moscow were close throughout the Cold War, a relationship that endures to this day, and Russia continues to be India's biggest arms supplier.

The United States has been in discussions with India over its position on Ukraine, and on Saturday it urged Delhi to use its influence with Russia to "protect the rules-based international order".

यूक्रेन में फंसे छात्र-छात्राओं को भारतीय दूतावास ने एयरलिफ्ट करना शुरू कर दिया है। वतन वापसी के लिए सैकड़ों भारतीय छात्र रोमानिया की सीमा पर पहुंच रहे हैं। इस दौरान छात्र-छात्राओं को तमाम मुश्किलों को सामना भी करना पड़ रहा है। इस बीच यूक्रेन से कुछ खबरें ऐसी भी जा रही हैं, जो हर भारतीय का सीना गर्व से चौड़ा कर देंगी। भारत का राष्ट्रीय ध्वज तिरंगा देखकर रूसी सैनिक भी छात्रों की मदद कर रहे हैं।

आगरा के मारुति फॉरेस्ट राजपुर चुंगी के आदित्य सिंह जादौन भी यूक्रेन में फंसे हुए हैं। इनके पिता डॉ. जयवीर सिंह ने बताया कि से विनिस्ता यूनीवर्सिटी यूक्रेन से बेटा एमबीबीएस कर रहा है, उसका पहला साल है। फोन पर बेटे ने बताया कि यहां खाने-पीने की दिक्कत है, पहले भारतीय दूतावास से संपर्क नहीं हो रहा था। संपर्क होने के बाद तीन बसों में करीब 150 छात्रों को लेकर रोमानिया के लिए निकले हैं। बेटे ने बताया कि तिरंगा देखकर रूसी सैनिकों ने भी मदद की और रोमानिया तक पहुंचाया है। रोमानिया पहुंचने के बाद राहत मिली है, बस बेटा आ जाए। यही बड़ी खुशी है।
तिरंगा रखना साथ, दूतावास से आदेश मिला है
शास्त्रीपुरम निवासी संतोष सिंह ने बताया कि यूक्रेन में बेटी श्रेया एमबीबीएस कर रही है। शनिवार की दोपहर करीब ढाई बजे फोन पर बात हुई थी, तब उसने बताया था कि भारतीय दूतावास से फोन आया है और कहा कि आप तिरंगा साथ रखना और छोटे बैग में पासपोर्ट समेत बेहद जरूरी सामान ही रखें। इस पर उसने बैग पर तिरंगा लगा लिया है। तीन बसों में भारतीय छात्र रवाना हुए हैं। पौलेंड के बॉर्डर सील होने के कारण रोमानिया से होते हुए बस आने को कहा है, वहां से एयरलिफ्ट किए जाएंगे। बेटी ने बताया कि यहां हालात खराब होते जा रहे हैं, खाने-पीने के सामान के लिए अराजक स्थिति बन गई है। इसके बाद फोन पर संपर्क नहीं हो पाया है।

On Thursday, Russian paratroopers wrested control of the Gostomel airfield, on the northwestern outskirts of Kyiv, after swooping in with helicopters and jets from the direction of Belarus. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Friday that Russian "sabotage groups" have entered Kyiv and urged citizens to remain vigilant.

Washington: The Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been captured by Russian forces. Russian troops took over the power plant while Ukrainian forces battled them on three sides on Thursday after Moscow mounted an assault by land, sea and air.

Chernobyl sits on the shortest route from Belarus to Kyiv, Ukraine capital, and so runs along a logical line of attack for the Russian forces invading Ukraine.

In seizing Chernobyl, Western military analysts said Russia was simply using the fastest invasion route from Belarus, an ally of Moscow and a staging ground for Russian troops, to Kyiv.

Jack Keane, a former chief of the US Army staff, said Chernobyl "doesn't have any military significance" but sits on the shortest route from Belarus to Kyiv, the target of a Russian "decapitation" strategy to oust the Ukrainian government.

Taking Chernobyl was part of the plan, and a senior Ukrainian official said it was captured on Thursday by Russian forces, though a senior US defense official said the United States could not confirm this.
