Be wise

A man met his landlord sleeping with his wife. He took a side stool and hit it on the landlord's head and Landlord died instantly.

He was arraigned for murder. After 5 years of trial, he was telling his lawyer in the court that he regretted killing his landlord.

Lawyer asked him why? He said he just realized that only God knows how many men his wife would have slept with during the period he has been in jail. Sincerely people that was leasting to their conversation cried.

Luckily the Judge held all he said that he was provoked and delivered the judgement on same day to spend 10years in prison. After spent 10 years in prison and was released.

WHAT HAPPENED:
He came out only to find out that the wife already had 2 boys and nursing a baby girl for a neighbor.

LESSON LEARNT
Do not fight over any thing. It's not worth it at all!

Just be yourself!

What will be will be, because at the end, you are just alone, even your shadow will leave you in the darkest corner.

JUST BEGIN.

Just after I received my fee structure from My University for my PhD, totalling N850,000 in 2012, I met my Dad, at Cooperative bank in Kaduna.

I explained to him that I had the admission letter and he smiled.

I told him however, "Baba, there is a problem. They need N850,000."

He held my hands, then slowly but reassuringly, said, *"Just Begin,* my son."

To ensure his point went home, he got into his account and gave me N14,000 in an account that had N20,000.

I was touched.

*I added N16000 and paid N30,000 into the account, and my journey to PhD began.*

Today, having reached the dream, I remember the words of my father.
*Just Begin....*

In everything you do, always remember, *JUST BEGIN.*

*Just begin, no matter how difficult it seems to be.*

It appeared to be difficult, but as time lapsed, I realised dad was right.

At some point before my defence, I gave up.

I still had a solid N300,000 to pay and they wouldn't give me a chance for my final defence.

*Then came a very unlikely help.*

I had supported a gentleman to undertake a project evaluation two times in the year.

I received his call cautiously asking me to meet him.

He was carrying a brown envelop in his hand.

He began, "Aliyu, you will forgive me if you find my action inappropriate. For two consecutive times you have given me a job without asking for a Cent. This is very unusual with many people. I did not know how to approach you, but I am deep with gratitude. Please accept my small gift."

I quickly peered into the envelope and saw they were two bundles, likely in hundreds.

He confirmed that it was N200,000.

I couldn't believe it.

The words of my father,
*"My son, just begin"* came to mind.

*Don't worry how it will end.*

*Just begin.*

If you are building a house, *just begin.*

If you are planning to buy land, *just begin.*

If you want to continue with your education, *just begin.*

If you want to pay dowry, *just begin.*

Nothing is more powerful than that advice.

*We just need to Have Faith and Begin.*

And I have revised this philosophy.

Whenever someone is doing something, I always encourage them to *Have Faith and Just keep trying.*

When things get thick, I always say, *keep walking.*

*No matter how slow Just keep Moving*

*If you Can't Walk then Crawl*

*Just Keep Moving*

When things are intimidating, *Ignore.*

*Persist and keep trying.*

*Don't give up on life just because your challenges appear to be insurmountable.*

*Do not be defeated before you begin.*

Whatever looks like a mountain will soon become an anthill...
*but only if you begin.*

Not long ago, someone asked me, "Aliyu, are we going to manage to build the office we want?"

My answer,
*"Let's just begin."*

*I believe in the power of Faith and Action (Starting) .*

No one Wins a race until they *respond* to the sound of the gun and begin.

*The secret lies in Beginning.*

Overtime, God has seen me through a number of projects because of this philosophy.

I have parcels of land that I acquired by simply paying N50,000...and, overtime, these have multiplied.

*I persuade you this day never to allow yourself to be threatened by the size of your problem.*

*The Journey of a Thousand Miles Starts with One Step*

*Begin in a small way to do something about it.*

*How Do You Eat an Elephant ?*
By Eating it *One Bit at a Time*

If it is lack of money do something small to get something for yourself.

*If it is a marital issue, look for a way to solve it.*

In whatsoever you face, *Just Begin.*

Even those with big debts can do something about it.

*Just begin by doing something little and it will shrink each day.*

I was not a millionaire, but sometime ago, I wanted to have a feeling of being one.

I drew a plan of how to hold a million in my account, at least for a few days.

After some months of beginning, I discovered it was possible.

*Three years and half of savings later, I got my first ever million.*

Even though I used it later on investments and expenses, it felt so good.

*Let's all Have Faith and Just Begin*.

The Many Lies Sahara Reporters and Sowore Told Against Goodluck Jonathan.

Yesterday, a young man named Joseph Sunday, with the Instagram moniker, , said that on the charge of using propaganda to undermine the Jonathan administration with lies and promote the candidacy of General Buhari with falsehood, Saharareporters did no wrong and Sowore is innocent because they only exposed the corruption in Jonathan’s government.

If that were true, I do not believe anyone, including myself, would have had issues with either Sahara Reporters or Sowore. But did Sowore and Sahara Reporters expose the truth about Jonathan? Here are some of the many lies sahara Reporters used to deceive Joseph Sunday and other gullible Nigerians and manipulated their minds against then President Jonathan.

* That Jonathan Looted ₦32b From Bayelsa State, and is the ‘Richest President In Africa’ (Published on Feb 2, 2015).
* That Patience Jonathan caused the Dana Air crash because she was wasting time to land in her Presidential Jet (Published on June 4, 2012 and then deleted without apology).
* That Jonathan gave out gold plated iPhones to guests at his daughter’s wedding (Published on April 13, 2014).
* That Jonathan was too drunk to deliver his speech at the AU (Published on May 25, 2013).
* That $49 billion was missing from the Federal Government’s treasury (Published on various dates in February, 2014).
* That Jonathan did not care about Chibok Girls and Rejected British Offer To Rescue Kidnapped Chibok Schoolgirls (Published on various dates and officially debunked by the British Government on Mar 8, 2017).
* That Jonathan led a 600 man delegation to the UN (Published on September 22, 2013).
* That Jonathan’s team threatened a blogger with death (Published on Apr 25, 2011).
* That Jonathan was persecuting Rotimi Amaechi (Published on Oct 26, 2014).
* That PDP was behind Boko Haram (published on multiple dates).
* That Jonathan was a habitual drunkard (Published on Nov 22, 2013).
* That Jonathan bribed pastors with ₦7 billion (Published on Feb 19, 2015).
* That Jonathan shared $1.1 billion between himself, Attorney General Bello Adoke, and several cronies and ministers (Published on May 27, 2012).
* That Jonathan and his cronies stole $20 billion in less than 3 years from just sales of crude oil alone (Published on July 12, 2014).
* That Jonathan is Worth $120 Million Dollars! (Published on Oct 14, 2014).
* That Jonathan is the sponsor of Niger Delta militants (Published on multiple dates).
* That Jonathan dishonesty shielded the Abacha family from prosecution after reaching a corrupt deal with them (Published on May 15, 2015).

These are just a few of the many LIES which people like and others believed and still believe. I have listed each of these stories, with the dates they were published. You can Google them. They are all LIES. I am resident in America were Sahara Reporters is incorporated. I challenge them and Sowore to sue me for libel if I have lied against them.

The problem with Nigerians is that they are too easily swayed by unverified propaganda. That is why they believed all these lies against Jonathan.

What Saharareporters and Sowore failed to tell you are the following:

* That under Jonathan, Nigeria was rated the 3rd fastest growing economy in the world, according to CNN Money and the World Bank
* That under Jonathan, in 2014, Nigeria made her best ever improvement on the annual Transparency International Corruption Perception Index, moving from 144 the previous year, to 136, an 8 point improvement. Whereas, according to Transparency International, Nigeria is more corrupt today than it was under the previous administration, having moved 12 places backwards in the CPI, from 136 in 2014 to 148 in 2018.
* That under Jonathan, Nigeria was the top FDI destination in Africa, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). However, today, we are not even number one in West Africa (Ghana is).
* That under Jonathan, Nigeria was acknowledged by the International Food Policy Research Institute IFPRI, as having reduced hunger levels by 2013. Their annual Global Hunger Index showed that Nigeria’s index dropped from 16.3 in 2005 to 15 in 2013. Today, Nigeria is the world headquarters for extreme poverty!
* That Jonathan built 165 almajiri schools and 14 new federal universities, with 10 in the North. As a result, of the 1,543,683 who took the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) in 2013, 1,074,065 obtained five credits and above, representing a 70 per cent pass rate. The significance of this will not be appreciated until you consider the fact that in the previous year, 2012, only 615,123 representing 39% of those who took the examinations obtained five credits and above. Meanwhile, today, Nigeria is the world headquarters for out of school children because not a single new university has been completed since 2015.
* That under Jonathan, the average life expectancy in Nigeria increased from 47 years in the first year of his Presidency to 54 years in 2015, representing the highest ever increment in the history of Nigeria, since records began being kept by the United Nations.

I do not want to over labour the good things Jonathan did. I just put the few above to provide contrast of what Sowore and Sahara Reporters REFUSED to publish.

And to those who say I should forgive Sahara Reporters and Sowore, I make bold to say that they do not know the meaning of forgiveness. Forgiveness means that you refuse to avenge yourself and instead, give room to God to take vengeance for you.

I have forgiven them. Nigerians are just too emotional. Forgiveness is not Amnesia. Scripture never said forgive and FORGET. If your wife commits adultery and in the process gets HIV, you can forgive. But if you forget, you will catch HIV. Nigeria forgot the HIV we got between 1983 and 1985. That is why we are suffering it again in 2019. Those who forget history repeat it. Don’t be EMOTIONAL.

The late king of a certain community had ten wild dogs. He used them to torture and eat any of his servants who made a mistake. One of the servants gave an opinion which was wrong, and the king didn’t like it at all. So he ordered that the servant be thrown to the dogs.
The servant said, “I served you for ten years, and you do this to me? Please give me ten days before throwing me to those dogs!” The king agreed.

In those ten days, the servant went to the guard who looks after the dogs and told him he would like to serve the dogs for the next ten days. The guard was baffled but agreed, and the servant started feeding the dogs, cleaning for them, bathing them, and providing all sorts of comfort for them.

When the ten days were over, the king ordered that the servant be thrown to the dogs for his punishment. When he was thrown in, we were all amazed to see the ravenous dogs only licking the feet of the servant!
The king, baffled at what he was seeing, said,
”What has happened to my dogs?”
The servant replied, "I served the dogs for only ten days, and they didn’t forget my service. Yet I served you for a whole ten years and you forgot all, at my first mistake!"
The king realised his mistake and ordered the servant to be set free.

This post is a message to all those who forget the good things a person did for them as soon as the person makes a mistake towards them. Don’t put out the history that is filled with good because of a mistake you don’t like.😊

Lagos State police command sealed off the venue of a symposium where Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka and other speakers where to address the state of insecurity in the country.

The program organized by a group known as Coalition for Revolution (CORE) was billed to hold at 46, Ibijoke street, Oluyole bus-stop, Oregun, Lagos. Femi Falana, human rights lawyer, Affiong Affiong, a lawyer, and Femi Aborishade, an activist, has as its theme: “Democracy, State Repression and the State of insecurity in Nigeria”.

Reacting to the situation on Twitter, Reno Omokri, a former presidential media aide wrote, 'Wole Soyinka co-created the Frankenstein monster that General Buhari has become with his 'anyone but Jonathan' mantra. Now Jonathan is OUT of POWER and Soyinka is OUT of FREEDOM and he wants us to come OUT on the streets? No. Enjoy your monster!

So disappointed that a Professor, who is also a Nobel Laureate, expected a man of doubtful school certificate to be his messiah. Soyinka is crying dictatorship? Dry your crocodile tears. You produced & directed the nightmare starring General Buhari.

Soyinka and co removed Jonathan, whose "political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian" and CROWNED Buhari, who threatened that "the dog and baboon will be soaked in blood" and they are surprised when there is blood all over Nigeria?

Herdsmen who STEAL, KILL and DESTROY, held a meeting in Zamfara to explain why they decided to kill Nigerian citizens, and General Buhari did not shut down the venue.

But he shuts Soyinka's venue. Imagine! Anyway, Soyinka’s is reaping what he sowed. Dear Wole Soyinka, Are you not endorsing again? What happened to your romance with General Buhari? Have you forgotten 'anyone but Jonathan'? Have you forgotten when you were campaigning for Buhari? Your tree has matured. Enjoy its bitter fruit!

Ekweremadu Beaten Up By Suspected IPOB Members In Germany.
Former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, was on Saturday disgraced by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The incident is believed to have taken place in Nuremberg, Germany. Ekweremadu was dragged around and stoned with different objects, around the venue of the event.

The lawmaker was later whisked away in a car, after several attempts to stop him from escaping. In the video, one of the attackers was heard saying “imagine, people are dying on a daily basis, people are wailing on a daily basis and we are here enjoying.”
