Hundreds of youth joined Yoga sessions held at Indoor Stadium.
Budgam, June 21: The Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today participated in the 8th International Day function held at Indoor Stadium Budgam, where hundreds of youths joined the training sessions.
The function was organized jointly by Nehru Yuva Kendra Budgam and Department of Youth Service and Sports #Budgam in Collaboration With Department of Ayush and Education.
As many as 350 both male and female participants took part wth great enthusiasm and zeal. The Theme for the 8th International Yoga Day 21 June 2022 was ‘Yoga for Humanity and Peace’.
DC Budgam Shahbaz Mirza, who was the chief Guest on the occasion, highlighted the importance of yoga for both physical endurance and mental wellbeing. He said that everyone should involve and learn Yoga to practice it routinely for good health.
He appreciated organizers for making adequate arrangements. The different Yoga Asanas were performed under the guidance of Yoga experts.
Pertinently, International Yoga Day was also celebrated at different twelve Physical Education Zones Headquarters of the district Budgam with great fervor and enthusiasm in which around 6350 participants have taken part and practiced different Yoga Asanas.

A good news for food lovers came today from Budgam wherein Khawab-Biryani Hut Restaurant was launched in the heart of the city Main town Budgam at Crescent City Centre shopping Mall.
The food outlet was inaugurated today with an impressive event held by the owner of the restaurant.
Abid Hussain, the owner of the unit also spoke to the media and said that Khawab Restaurant offers quality cuisine to the customers and there shall be no compromise on the quality of food served to its guests. Biryani, butter chicken, pizza and various other items shall be available at the outlet and our cooks are determined to prepare delicious and tasty cuisines for the visitors, Mr. Abid Added.
Abid further said that Restaurant is spacious enough and has separate room for visitors who prefer to sit and relish dishes in traditional Kashmiri Trami-Thali Wazwaan. There is ample space for parking vehicles in the Mall, abid added.

Two militants killed in brief shootout in Srinagar.
Srinagar, December 13: Two militants were killed in a Brief Shootout in Wanbal Rangreth area of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Monday.
Official sources told GNS that on a very specific input militants were intercepted and subsequently killed in a Brief Shootout.
The identity and affliation of militants is yet to be ascertained, the officer added.
As per the sources one among the slain militant is believed to foreigner.
