Explore the Majestic 130-Ton Baleen Whale Skeleton at | Journalism | MGM Campus Tour

On the MGM College campus, within the Zoology Museum, stands the impressive skeleton of a Baleen Whale. This magnificent creature, one of the largest on Earth, weighed approximately 130 tons when alive. The skeleton itself tips the scales at around 7.5 tons, with the skull alone accounting for about 2.5 tons. The vertebral column of the whale spans an impressive 13 meters in length.
