The last few years of X-Men comics have been some of my favorite sci-fi stories. I wrote about "the Spark," the philosophy Nightcrawler creates, as part of my series about fictional religions.*
*Meaning: religions that originate in a work of fiction. I've also written about Vonnegut's Bokononism, the gods of Becky Chambers' Monk & Robot books, the sensayers of Ada Palmer's Terra Ignota, and Octavia Butler's Earthseed.
