The purpose of beach cleanups is to raise awareness about climate change and plastic pollution. Our mission is to clean Karachi’s beaches and the ocean to save the marine life.

Join us every Saturday for the beach cleanups. Walk along the beach with friends and help out the environment. It is an open event and anyone can join us.

Meet up point: Seaview Mcdonald’s parking lot

Meet us in the parking lot of McDonald’s and join us on the walk on the beach. The walk will be about 200m long to Nishan-e-Pakistan where the beach cleanup will begin.

Event at N.E.D University on National Resilience Day 8th October 2019

Pakistan not only faces security defies on its external facades, it equally tackles with domestic challenges and natural catastrophes on its ground. 8th October is thus marked as “National Resilience Day”, not only to remember those souls who lost their lives in dreadful earthquake of 2005 in history of Pakistan but this day also calls for preparations for any kind of natural disaster or calamity which knows no borders. This year also, on 8th October 2019, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Sindh in collaboration with NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi is organized the National Resilience Day to commemorate the loss we as a national has faced in past and to promote preparedness for better resilience in future.

A Day with Orphan Children of Sindh| Dream World Resort | EMOTIONAL MOMENTS!

Aimed to provide over 450 orphan children a welcoming environment for healthy and fun-based activities, the one-day gala was participated by well-known philanthropists, artistes, officials from the government institutions and private and multinational companies, media representatives and bloggers who spent their entire day with children who came from such far-flung cities as Mirpur Khas, Tando Allahyar, Badin, Nawab Shah and Hyderabad.

AlKhidmat Foundation Sindh arranged an Annual Fun Gala for 450 orphan children of its different clusters of Sindh at ” Dream World Resort ” Amusement Park Karachi. These orphan children from Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar, and Badin districts will take part in different sports events including swimming, Horse riding, Boating, archery at Dream World. The eminent personalities from Karachi including Muhammad Hussain Mehnti (Ex MPA – President JI Sindh), Brigadier (R) Abdul Jabbar Butt (National Director OFSP) Mr. Mehfooz-ul-Haq (VP Sindh Olympic Association), Mr. Abdul Jabbar Rathore (ED-Dream World), Dr. Muhammad Shahid (Chairmen Social Welfare Dept. University of Karachi) Regional Executives spent time with these orphan children during the fun gala to encourage them.Under the Orphan Family Support Program, Al-Khidmat Foundation has been engaged in character the building of orphans with the provision of food, health, education and other facilities to them.

Thousands of mourners joined on Muharram processions across the country to pay tribute to Imam Hussain (RA) and his followers, who sacrificed their lives for Islam in Karbala more than 1,400 years ago.

The main procession in Karachi started from Nishtar Park and took the traditional route through the city.

7,000 policemen and 3,000 Rangers personnel was deployed for the security of the procession in the city. Aerial surveillance — through drone cameras — of the main procession would also be carried out.

The nation is celebrating the Independence Day today as 'Kashmir Solidarity Day' to reaffirm its full support to Kashmiris suffering atrocities at the hands of Indian troops in the Indian-occupied valley.

The day dawned with 31 gun-salute in federal and 21-gun salute in the provincial capitals. Special prayers for safety and sovereignty of the country were offered. National and Kashmiri flags are hoisting on government and private buildings.

This is the Paper Market at Pakistan Chowk, where hundreds of vendors have set up stalls, selling special merchandise to celebrate Pakistan's 68th Independence Day. The place has turned into probably Karachi's biggest wholesale market for these items.
