A little about AiDU.

AiDU stands for adventures in digital utopia. It’s Shambala Festival’s foray, alongside various ace partners, into a digital realm.

Amongst the huge uncertainty that our live music industry faces, we wanted to explore ways we could continue to connect and inspire.

The challenges for the grassroots of the music industry is immense. The digital landscape of big data, ads and record monoliths’ monopoly is a tricky one to break into.

We want to carve out a digital platform online that feels like home. That, like Shambala, supports the (would be) touring musicians, those up-and-coming, putting forward quality content with heart and big ideas!

It’s crucial that Rishi Sunak’s statement supports live music. 210,000 people rely on concerts and festivals for employment, but we’ll be one of the last sectors to open. The UK’s live music industry is world-beating. It contributes so much more than just it's billions to our economy. Without support, it won’t survive.

All eyes on Rishi at 12:30pm.
