Brooklyn’s own Post-metal holiday family band has resurrected again for their debut LP “Heavy Holidays for Heavy Times.” A follow up to their immaculate birth as a band last year, in the form of a three song, self titled EP. With this LP, the band (Cassidy/12, Zola/7, Iggy/5, and Seth/44) can be heard, expanding their genre into some softer edges, adding some post rock drama, as well as even a little acoustic sadness. The shift is to help explore what it means to celebrate winter holidays while living in these turbulent times of war, plagues and catastrophes, that seem to hit so very close to home, but still trying to find a moment of happiness and cheer.
