When sheep fall down on their backs, they can't get up. This is called a cast sheep. They need a shepherd to help them get back on their feet.
🐑 In scripture, Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd. He knows His sheep and His sheep know Him.
🐑 Do you think when Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd that He knew there would be times in our lives that we would fall down and couldn't get back up without Him? He knows His sheep.
🐑 I'm so thankful for the Good Shepherd to pick me up and set my feet upon a firm foundation!!

Giving is something that goes far beyond money. Giving can be something so simple, but hold so much greater value in the end. Giving can be:

your time
your love
your support
your faithfulness
long-suffering
grace
mercy
compassion
confidentality
kindness
hope
peace
gradititude
mercy
forgiveness
companions ship (not just being their significant other, but showing up for others that don't have any family or family support)
Guidance
wisdom (true wisdom/wise counsel)
joy
patience
hope
laughter
intercession
humilty
meekness
a listening ear and so much more. Alot of times ppl will show you what they need it is not always expressed with words. Non-verbal communication can express a variety of needs as well. If we shift our focus from entitlement, to the needs of others, not only is this a form of giving, but it is also a form of sacrifice.

One thing I love about the Lord is He shows no partiality (favoritism) to the just nor the unjust . So why don’t we? He showed kindness to the thankful and to the evil? So if we are followers (imitators) of Him(Jesus Christ) why don’t we?

Sometimes we can get so fixated on people, place and things, but the ULTIMATE GIFT, THE ULTIMATE PRIZE TO RECEIVE IS JESUS CHRIST NOW AND FOREVER AND ALWAYS HE ALONE IS TO BE WORSHIPPED, AND GLORIFIED……..HE ALONE IS LORD, HE ALONE IS GOD. Keep our eyes fixated on Him. Love you all be encouraged! 🙏🏽💪🏼
