Acrobatics, dance, horses and lots of British flair at Horse & Symphony! 🤩
You take in the great live music of Sinfonieorchester Aachen a few world champions, dancers, nostalgic carriages and of course lots of horses. ✨ The result was a production of the popular format "Horse & Symphony", which took the audience into a magical world that was above all: "very British". 🇬🇧
For general music director Christopher Ward - British himself - this year's motto "All you need is love", based on the legendary Beatles anthem, was a "home game", and so his ensemble of musicians, filled the Deutsche Bank AG stadium with some of Britain's most popular tunes: pieces by classical composers such as Edward Elgar or Vaughan Williams on legendary pop pieces from Rod Stewart or Queen to popular sounds from James Bond and Harry Potter. 🎼 And there were fascinating spectators, sometimes graceful, sometimes action-filled, sometimes with historical distress. A great spectacle! 🌟
