Ah - finally back from holiday and looking at to do lists and streamlining and everything else that I'm planning for this season. What would y'all like to see? Any requests?
Really quite enjoying Google+ so will be adding that to the blog stable come September - so authors have multiple social networking venues to choose from. I did have a question though - if you could have a membership that reminded you to do certain things on certain days, tailored to you, would you like that?
Great tip for authors - social media is a continual stream - so if you struggle with remembering to post to your blog weekly, and can forward date posts, why not consider writing sets of them and queuing them up to get yourself 'ahead'?
And to ensure that you're getting the best out of what I'm talking about, I'm going to learn about Google+ and share in the next few days and weeks. I'm really excited to be on the beginning of a new social network :D
Advertising for authors is not a page to advertise yourselves :) I will periodically run 'like' threads (tomorrow is our first), but I would deeply appreciate it that if you're going to post here, it's a resource, and unless you're a 'recognized' expert, not your own blog/site. Find someone else to promote and extend everyone's knowledge :D
