Depending on how DEEP your trauma/ Pain is, depends on how much lamenting you need. Yes, God places people in your lives to help you heal but first you must do some of the work if not majority of it. Now dont be fooled some people that come could be from the devil its up to you to discern whos who. Ask yourself, what do i need to lament?#PushThroughGurl
Lamenting…. You must grieve in order to let go and to move forward. If you skip this process you will destroy the things God brings your way.Rather you do it subconsciously or consciously. Everything that comes in your life will be collateral damage of your pain. Ask yourself, how much pain/trauma are you carrying? Grieve and cry out to the Lord whats bothering you. How hurt you are. Do your village have grace for you? With your healing come accountability and vulnerability. The people that have given me grace to be able to speak how i feel without getting offended are appreciated. I have a conversation with a girlfriend of mines and she told me how wrong i was for something i did but how she said it to me i was able to recieve it because i felt what she said was coming from a loving disposition. Yeah it stung a little and bruised my feeling but it help me to see the errors of my ways. I say this to say how can Iron sharpens Iron if youre bot willing to be truthful, vulnerable and accountable. Decision
As a parent we make decisions based on where we are in life not realizing that some decisions we make affect our kids tremendously. As i was in a deep and traumatic healing phase i was also healing my kids. When i would do my sessions my therapist would give me kudos for addressing issues and concerns my kids had. This allowed me to be a safe place to allow my kids the floor to speak on how they feel and felt when i was in a state of hur and pain.it was hard trying to heal myself while healing my kids. Whewwww the many layers of healing people dont talk about. Healing requires you to be accountable but also vulnerable but it helps you in the most impactful way.
