Jenny Arredondo is a true Techno enthusiast. A music and dance-floor lover. A crazy healthy raver that would dance for hours and hours to proper Techno beats and bass. She is known as the "Dancing Queen" in the underground NYC Techno scene and around the world. Her passion for music has no limits; she has music in her blood.
Jenny's music exploration journey began in 2012, and she now produces under the names "Headliner" and "La Guru". Her album "Techno Inquisition" was released on November 16th 2013 and her second album ¨Ubiquitous¨ was released on December 28th 2014. Her release "Dark Invader" was included in the compilation REGENERATION by the Spanish label Doppt Zykkler//Series. Her track Headliner - Planck Epoch was included in the (DE19) Deep Diversity Vol. 3 - Deep Electronics Compilation by Deep Electronics released on November 5, 2015. Her first EP "Rose Red Wounds" was released on July 16th 2021 on the dutch label Deep Electronics. Her latest release "A New Hope" was a contribution to the Mastoid Kollektive -PINK in support of breast cancer and was featured along other tracks by amazing techno and house legends.
She organized underground techno events in New York, Detroit, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Playa del Carmen for multiple years.
In 2015, Headliner also became part of Female Pressure, an international network of female artists in electronic music and digital arts founded by Electric Indigo.
You will often find her listening and discovering new tracks and artists, also at Techno events having the time of her life.

Salva Coromina, a regular DJ on the Barcelona scene since the late 90s under the alias of mouseDown/MouseUp, was a resident DJ at The Loft and a regular at Sonar for many years. He has always been exploring the deeper face of electronic music moving from ambient to techno. We can find some of his productions on the Hivern Discs label

It's time to FEED THE RAVER! This time I'm so excited to have S ʜ ᴇ ʟ ʟ ᴇ y on the show. Music is not just sound. It’s a feeling, an emotion, a release into the universe. It makes you happy or sad, and it makes you cry for both reasons. Shelley, is a self-taught DJ from Bielefeld, Germany, that has been making a name for herself since 2019 when she decided that the years spent within the club culture could be translated into something fun.

Her cultivating frequencies and understanding are reflected, with a vibe strongly rooted in nature dressed in deep techno. Her sessions blend hypnotic & percussive sounds with dubby & organic atmospheres. Through this combination, she achieves to impact mind & soul in an unique way; channeling her love for the deeper electronics and turning it into beautiful sonic sceneries.
Shelley left her mark on such platforms as Diffuse Reality, Indefinite Pitch, Deepinic, to name a few.

She is also mixing her own mix series called Secret Place available on her SoundCloud.

For the 10th anniversary I have killer mix from The Alchemical Theory. This project was born in 2018 from the creative union of three Italian producers. The identity of the project has been very influenced by the favorite sounds of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic sounds to much more atmospheric sounds. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. In each release they want to represent something that affects the listener's mind, reproducing a real mental journey.

Happy New Year!

It's time to Feed The Raver. I'm excited to present a guest that I wanted to have on the show for a while. Alessandro Crimi (born February 25th, 1983 in Feldkirch, Austria) is an electronic music producer, DJ and record collector based in Switzerland. Music always has been his big passion. It all started very early when he found some real gems in his parents’ record collection from the likes of Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Pet Shop Boys or Depeche Mode which he really loved.
He is known for his deep and Dub influenced DJ sets, and many people say that he is a true specialist for playing warm ups.
Alessandro showed his mixing skills at the Harry Klein Club (Munich), Club Home (Amsterdam), Rohstofflager (Zurich) and Hive (Zurich), just to name a few. His style can not only be described as deep and dubby, he is also producing and playing all kinds of House music, Detroit influenced Techno and Electro, Ambient and sometimes also Hip Hop.
His own music has been released on various vinyl and digital labels like Sthlmaudio, Italic, Broque and many others.
In 2012 he has started the vinyl label 'Waehlscheibe' which he is running together with his friends.

Even during this pandemic and super hard times we want to continue supporting artists that have used the power of music to deal with the current situation.

It's time to FEED THE RAVER! This month we present Medulla Oblangata (Youarehere), a French digger who explores melancholic ambiences and dark hypnotic grooves. His universe goes from ambient music to deep techno. His full-vinyl sets come with handmade tape loops aiming to create introspective vibes. Guided by his hip-hop references, Medulla strongly believes in the political side of music and its part of activism.

About the mix in his words:

"I struggled making the selection tbh. We've been confined for 2 months here in France. Even if I work in the mental health field, I started feeling isolation, sleep deprivation and anxiety. In order to prevent myself from these issues, I've been mixing ambient music. My “COVID-19 ambient series” were basically made to relax. Then they slipped to dark drone ambient stuff. So for this mix at first, I wanted to do something more groovy and dancing but it wasn’t how I felt, so I let it go and expressed my current feeling about all this: the lies of our politicians, the anxiety for my family and fear of the future and how the toughest capitalism will do anything to crush everything again despite the climate crisis."

It's time to FEED THE RAVER!

This is the last episode of the decade and I want to thank every single artist that has been part of this project and took the time to record a set for me and for the techno community.

2020 will mark the 8th anniversary and I can't believe how fast time is flying.

This year was a very hard one on a personal level and focusing my energies on continuing curating this show was the best medicine for sure and I'm happy and excited to continue for as long as I can supporting local talents and sharing these amazing treats with all the hungry ravers that always want more.

Thanks to Warren Spectralband for always making it happen and for his commitment to continue broadcasting on Seance Radio.

Enjoy this badass set by Solace, aka Steve Livingston. He has been passionate about deep electronic music for many years.
He started collecting vinyl in the late 1980s, played these out at parties for friends, and ended up with a first local DJ residency in 1989. Over the following years, he DJ'd regularly at many top underground clubs around Scotland, and was also fortunate enough to get the chance to travel far & wide overseas and play at multiple venues.

Today he creates mixes simply out of that love for deep electronic sounds, and is completely immersed in the realms of deep techno, favoring ambient, tribal, hypnotic, and dub influences.

from the godfathers of electronic sound - Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and Brian Eno. With the rise of Detroit Techno, Steve found himself even more involved in the scene, naturally evolving into a DJ , spinning Hard Techno, Gabba and Speedcore.

Today it’s time to FEED THE RAVER and such a happy day!

Enjoy this beautiful set from one of my favorite artists, Segue, and I want to thank him so much for including one of his brand new productions which is absolutely EPIC!

His music has been a huge inspiration for me and made me super addicted to the deeper sounds that I'm so into today, that truly touch me and move me in magical ways!

Segue is Jordan Sauer from Vancouver, Canada, who has produced music as Segue since 2006. Segue's draws inspiration from a wide range of musical influences and his early years studying classical violin, and his productions take dub-electronic in a more melodic, uplifting direction than the genre is typically known for. With each composition, Segue transports the listener to lush green forest landscapes, bucolic mountain vistas, and deep blue tropical island scenes. He has released several albums, EP’s and collaborations, and is looking forward to his third LP, 'The Island,' out on Silent Season summer 2019.

Today it's time to FEED THE RAVER!

We are glad to welcome and support a local talent on the show.

Tsurugi is a DJ currently based in the US. A long time music enthusiast having traveled around the globe chasing new journeys through forward thinking sounds in techno and cutting-edge electronics. Having help cultivate events in the past he continues to keep his finger on the pulse of reinvented/deconstructed sounds. He is currently a resident of Cipher NYC which leans towards deep hypnotic soundscapes.

Tsurugi will be playing for Cipher NYC soon and a very much anticipated party in Tokyo this summer so stay tuned!

It's time to Feed The Raver! This week we present R.A.B. (aka Manuel De La Madrid) from Mexico City.
He discovered the art of using turntables almost 30 years ago and began collecting electronic music. In 1998 he decided to start playing at events in the scene and refining his style through the evolution of techno. The past 4 years he has been performing regularly at events in Mexico City alongside veterans such as Itzone and the Zonativa label crew. His style is deep, hypnotic and ambient techno and sent us this beautiful set. Enjoy!

It's time to Feed the Raver!!! This week we present ALPI from Italy.
They are a techno duo formed in 2014 with a passion for being creative geeks with machines and addicted vinyl collectors. They managed to create their own sound and released several records on labels such as Children of Tomorrow, PianoForest Records, Planet Rhythm, Autarchy Records and Voight including remixes by Wrong Assessment and Moteka. They performed alongside great artists and have more records coming out soon on BCA and Southern Lights including a remix by Ground Loop. This beautiful set includes several of their upcoming releases. Enjoy!
