Rain will start tomorrow morning, but the heaviest looks to be Monday night into the daytime on Tuesday. ☔️🌧️

After a little over a week since we last got to 90 degrees, we will get close to that mark again this weekend. Then we will cool down to start next week and might not even reach 70 degrees on Tuesday.

Hey Huskies, we hope the first week of summer is going well!
We've had some classic June gloom this week, but today is very comfortable with sun and temps in the 70s. Make sure to enjoy it though because we will have a decent cool down heading into Father's Day weekend. 🌤️

Smoke from Canadian wildfires has drifted into Washington this morning. This smoke will linger aloft the next two days and be most notable during sunrise and sunset.

Impacts to surface air quality is not expected.

The first heatwave of the season is on tap for Seattle this weekend. Find ways to stay cool, and be careful if recreating on local waterways... rivers and lakes are still very cold!

Things are looking to warm up around the Emerald City this week, with the warmest temperatures of the year expected next weekend. Record temperatures are likely for Sunday, with highs approaching 90 degrees.

A ridge of high pressure is expected to build over the Pacific Northwest by Friday.

Easterly winds coming down from the Cascades will raise temperatures in Puget Sound toward daily and monthly records on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Temperatures in the low to mid-50s under partly sunny skies. Winds are a bit gusty today, though. At noon, Seattle was gusting to 16 mph, Everett to near 20 mph.
