This is some liquid gold from right here! Whenever I have to go to an event , I always, always , always exfoliate my skin with an exfoliating glove , homemade sugar and olive oil scrub , properly groom from the feet up , and lather myself in dark tanning oil right out the shower. Adding this perfume scent on my body was the chefs kiss I’ve been needing to complete this regimen ! I suggest you try it cause I ain’t neva lied. 😂 GET YOUR SKIN SUMMER READY , BABY.

Since I’ve moved into Joni’s home 😂 , a lot of the pieces I’ve bought have not lasted in their original spot that I envisioned. But this , will forever and always be my absolute fav !! Last June , I was determined to find a as part of my and I searched everywhere. Online was waaaay too expensive ! I splurge here and there , but I didn’t want to splurge on an ! Anywho , this is where my love for started because I went there just to browse. I was about to leave and something told me to turn around. Gotta love those signs ! I did , and what did I see. This beautiful artificial lemon tree for $39 dollars I believe. I was over the moon ! It hasn’t left my kitchen , and even in the winter months it’s a reminder to look on the bright side - especially when dieting cause I want to eat everything 😂😂 this tree will remind me to drink my & 😩but such a beautiful piece.

I’m thankful to have met my mentor ! This woman is literally an angel here on Earth. I went to visit her last week , and like usual , our visits consists of talking about her love for sewing , my love for creating beautiful pieces and sketches , her journey on coming to Canada and making a life for herself as a doll designer and pattern maker ! I always leave inspired whenever I leave her home. Filled with so much wisdom and knowledge. With Day around the corner , we were talking about my sketches and she asked if I wanted to sketch something for her doll Coco. How could I have said no. She’s literally a legend. She handed me a pencil and a notepad. I did a quick as we talked and laughed. I was going for RED HOT. Seductive. Sexy. Sophisticated. I wanted drama. I wanted and I wanted and a . I wanted a cut out heart under the chest area with a mesh underlay . I’m extra like that. I know this. 😂Today while Jules and I were watching celebrity big brother , my phone started to ping. I was getting a few emails from her. I opened and what the heck did I see ? I saw the drama. I saw the sexy. I saw the RED HOT woman that I envisioned. 😍 I saw this being worn at the , I saw this and thought of . I do this social media stuff to one day have someone in my designs. I dress how I dress for myself, but I also have the dream of seeing others in my designs that I can one day potentially achieve. I truly believe that I have a gift and can sketch something up for everyone’s body type and to feel good about themselves. Provide . This has been heavy on my heart and something that has been on my mind from when I wake up to when I close my eyes. I have so many ideas when it comes to fashion. I’m ready to bet on myself. She amazes me every-time because I don’t sew I can’t envision how my designs will turn into real life , but this woman always executes. SHE DOESN’T MISS. I picked up these XO from 🌈DOLLARAMA FINDS 💚] as you know based on the poll in my story 😂. This was part of my decor project ! We all collectively agreed to put the sequins in hiding. So that we did. Sorry to the ones that voted otherwise. But with that being said , I loved these pillows when I glanced at them. The problem was , they were small ! I wasn’t sure if these were going to work on my couch, but I tried anyway. They added a nice touch to my H&M HOME] velvet cushion covers that I purchased a couple months ago. The and definitely complimented one another. I want to show you guys how to experiment with colour the right way , because believe me , there is definitely a wrong way to do this as well ! We’ll get into that soon ( as I am working to implement more colour in my wardrobe and home ! We’ll go into depth together and enjoy the process ) but , I loved how this turned out. I never use to be with holidays , until I had my son and moved out into our home ! Then it low key turned into my hobby because my son could care less what I do to the place ! Once in a while , he’ll tend to chime in. He thinks that I need two more XO pillows because the appropriate phrase is 😩 he does have a point though !

I Love You , Self. ♥️

We often give others many chances when they’ve done us wrong. But I have a question for you. Why is it that when it comes to forgiving ourselves , we are the cruelest , most non understanding individuals on the planet? We have negative thoughts about ourselves on the regular. We have our days where we can’t believe the choices that we’ve made , and then live in a lifetime full of regret. Learning to love yourself should be TOP PRIORITY. Making yourself feel good , learning about yourself , treating yourself , taking care of your body and your mind is necessary in this life. Having a good circle around you should be top priority too ! We only get the chance to live this life , ONCE. Love yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be gentle. Take time. Listen to the cues of your body when you’re feeling off. Take time to appreciate yourself and most of all take risks. Remember , “ To fall INLOVE with yourself is the first secret to happiness “ - RM
