Nigerian singer Rema has parted ways with Mavins Records and Jonzing World after buying out his contract. 🤝

Rema is now an independent artist and has removed all Mavins and Jonzing World-related information from his Instagram.

He is now free to do his shows as he wishes, release his music as he wants, and run his personal projects without any interruption from his former record labels.

An official announcement might be dropping soon as he plans to start this new journey.

I’ll Not Call Any Of You To Do What Is Wrong - Governor Sim Fubara tells judges.

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has said he will not ask any of the judges in the state to do what is wrong, but require that they dispense justice and do what is right by standing on the side of truth always.

Governor Fubara stated this while swearing in Stephens Dirialakeibama Jumbo as a Judge of the Rivers State High Court at the Executive Chamber, Government House, Port Harcourt on Thursday.

The governor charged the newly sworn-in Judge to stand by the truth so that posterity will be fair to him in whatever decision or judgement he is to make while discharging his duty without fear or favour.

"I do not know the reason why you were not sworn-in at that time. I also do not want to bother to know the reason, but what is important today is that God's plan for you has been fulfilled."

He called on members of the bench to always defend and protect the interest of the state, and expressed confidence that the newly sworn-in Judge will not disappoint but make the state and Judiciary proud.

The governor thanked Rivers people for their support, adding that Rivers State belongs to everyone of us appealing that it is our responsibility to defend and sustain the integrity of the State.

Two female students of Kwara State Polytechnic have been arrested in connection with the alleged mvrder of one Adeniyi Ojo. The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known while addressing newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja. Speaking to newsmen, one of the suspects, Adanma Joseph, corroborated the account of the police about what transpired between them and the deceased According to her, they attempted to steal from the deceased who wanted to have s£x with her and her friend, Favour Vandora Davies, but in the process the man di€d. She said she worked for the deceased in his club house for about three months in 2022 until the clubhouse was shut down by government, marking the beginning of their relationship. The suspect said that she got her friend involved in the attempt to steal from the deceased when he requested to have s€x with her. According to her, the initial idea was to lure him to have s€x with them in his car, on the belief that they would find money in the car. She, however, said they eventually ended up in a room where they tied the deceased on pretence of a having a BDSM sEx adding that when the deceased attempted to shout, they covered his mouth with a pillow. According to her, they didn't know that the man was de@d when they left with his phone, saying that they thought he was pretending to be asleep. The suspects, however, expressed regret for their action.

Lady who had an affair with gospel singer, Sammie Okposo speaks The lady identified as African Doll in an interview on Obodo Oyibo TV prior to Sammie Okposo’s admittance of the affair on social media, disclosed that their affair lasted for several months and they had s3x several times without protection. African Doll who neither admitted or denied knowing that the gospel singer is married, said she was overwhelmed by being in the presence of a celebrity she has been listening to. Maintaining that she’s not asking him for money, she added that all she’s been asking for is that he treats her with respect. African Doll also revealed during the interview that she will be keeping the baby. When asked if she is going to keep the baby, the outspoken lady said: “I will keep the baby, I don’t really believe in abortions. Fornication is a sin. The bible says he who is without sin should cast the first stone. It is not my intention to hurt anybody but to bring life to the situation”
