UPDATE: This evening Lizzy was found in Arvada, Colorado and has been returned safely to her family.
We would like to thank the Arvada Police Department, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Denver Police Department, the Aurora Police Department and a local business. We would also like to thank the community for sharing the information on their social media platforms, as that assisted in us being able to successfully locate Lizzy.
ORIGINAL RELEASE: On Thursday, June 4, 2020, the Sheriff's Office took a report for missing and endangered juvenile, Elizabeth "Lizzy" McPherson, DOB: 08/02/03. Lizzy was last seen approximately 7:00 PM, on June 4, 2020, at the Greyhound bus station on Weber Street in Colorado Springs, carrying a camouflage back back. It is unknown if she boarded a bus, but if she did it is believed she may be headed to Texas.
Lizzy has special needs and will sometimes use the name Elizabeth or Lizzy Callis. She often wanders from home, but usually only for a few hours. She has been known to tell people she is homeless and will befriend individuals quickly.
Lizzy is approximately 4’11" tall, weighs 84 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.
