Michael Chad Breinholt was shot and killed in police custody. His family was shocked when they found out this wasn’t the first time the police officer had shot and killed someone while on duty. It was his third.

A beautiful story of a police officer doing the work of a social worker. Let’s reinvest police funds into these types of services for seniors so that our elderly can continue to live with dignity.

Earlier today, officers responded to the Bank of America in Montebello regarding a patron who was causing a disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival, they discovered that a 92 year old man was trying to withdraw money from his account, however his California identification card was expired. Per the banks policy, because his identification card was expired, they were unable to fulfill his request. The gentleman was upset and the police were called.

Once officers arrived, Officer Robert Josett decided to take the man to the DMV in town to help him renew his identification card. With the assistance of the DMV, his identification card was renewed and he was taken back to the bank at which time he was able to withdraw money from his account. He thanked Officer Josett and went on his way.

It found there was no legal basis for the Aurora Police to stop, frisk, or choke Elijah McClain.

Paramedics didn’t check on Elijah or even examine him before injecting him with an enormous dose of ketamine.

The initial investigators crafted questions to help exonerate the officers.

To this day the only people to face charges related to Elijah McClain’s death are the activists who led peaceful protests demanding justice.

City of Detroit Government is suing Black Lives Matter claiming that:

“Detroit’s demonstrators are part of a “civil conspiracy,” the city’s countersuit alleges, “to disturb the peace, engage in disorderly conduct, incite riots, destroy public property,” and resist police orders, among other “illegal acts.” The countercomplaint asks the court to issue judgments declaring that the protesters engaged in this conspiracy and “defamed” the mayor and police, and to award the city damages.”

The city’s lawsuit came after protesters won a restraining order against Detroit cops for their violent response to the George Floyd protests.

“A federal judge has found the Seattle Police Department in contempt for violating an order to stop the "indiscriminate" use of chemical irritants or projectiles against protesters except in cases where officers faced imminent danger.”

A federal judge said "the court cannot ignore the clear violations" of an injunction limiting the police department's use of the weapons, but added some instances were in compliance.

As we get closer to the election remember that the weapons used by police to control protests against police brutality this year have led to serious and life threatening injuries. These protestors were often doing nothing dangerous towards police; in Donovan LaBella’s case he was shot in the face white holding a Boombox.

Donavan LaBella is a protester who was shot in the head with an impact weapon by a federal officer outside a Portland courthouse on video and seriously injured.
