Being a mama to our wonderful two year old boy and our little baby girl has really opened my eyes to the term âbalance.â It is different with one than it is with two. There is more juggling, more love, more everything. Balancing that with serving at the highest level is something that means more to me than anything.
But heres the thing - there is no such thing as work life balance, it makes it sound like its a competition between the two things. Instead, it work life flow. Where family and your own business are intertwined.
Iâm so blessed to have two healthy children, to have a successful business that allows me and my hubby to be with them 24 and to get to choose how to live.
But out there, there is judgement, there is jealousy, there are people and their triggers. Some allow those external influences to change their path - to not live the life that they dream of.

I love how freedom means different things to different people.
How our views of freedom in our businesses are moulded by our life experiences.
For me for instance, freedom means not having to commute every day. It means not having to jump on a plane and go to a corporate office at the drop of a hat. It means not working to other peoples schedules.
Freedom means being able to feed our horses every morning with my hubby and babies. It means being able to ping off requests to the team at 5am before the house stirs for the day. It means being there with my kids all day every day, whilst the systems and team I have built allow the business to continue to run. But what is freedom to you? What does it look like? What matters to you? Because this isn't about me. This is about you and what you want for this life that you have.
So many feel constrained by current circumstances. Instead of BEing who they want to be today, and instead living by circumstance.

I could talk all day about authenticity. Cause hereâs the thing. I used to try to hide who I was..
Have you ever hidden a part of you, in case people didnât like it?
A lot of people in my niche are flashy, showing their glamorous lifestyle.
So here was me, when I first started out in this game, living on a horse farm and spending most of my life in wellies. So I hid that part of me, to try to fit in.
But ugh, did my skin crawl. I didnât feel like me. I didnât sound like me. I was hiding away one of the biggest parts of my life, so that I wouldnât stand out, so that I would look like the others.
But when I ripped the band aid off and just showed up as the real me, my hair unbrushed, no make up on, I started to see a tidal shift in my business.
I started to wonder what was going on.
It all came back to authenticity,
This was the real me.
It was so freeing. I could be who I am.
This is when everything shifts and nothing is stressful, everything is easy, you donât âwork.â
Because you are being authentically you.

I remember when I had been in bed ill for many years. The lowest point of my life. Needing a wheelchair to get around the house. I was staring out at a bleak future. Fear rose up in me. Naked fear. I then went on to leave corporate and set up my own successful online coaching business.
Fear reared its ugly head a few times on this journey. Fear of judgement. Most of all, the fear of failure. But what I learned is that fear can be flipped on its head. When you have the right strategy, the right tactics and the right mindset.
Then, fear is kicked to the kerb and we are able to show up powerfully and serve.
The fear that we once had is a distant memory. The naysayers have been quietened. The monkey on your shoulder is gone for good.
