The White House gay pride celebration on June 10th of this year was a sickening display of immorality and Presidential hyperbole. It deserves all the shame and rebuke it has received, and it also shows how out of touch the White House is with the general public. That disconnect presents an opportunity for conservative Americans to take their case to the general public and persuade them our side in the upcoming election.

While thousands of troops stand overseas in harms way defending our country and our allies, President Biden said this.

"We all talk about courage. Well, I see more courage on this lawn than I've seen in any time in the recent past."
Joe Biden, White House Lawn, June 10, 2023

Courage? How about trans activist Rose Montoya, who stood on the White House lawn and snapped a photo of himself baring his fake breasts? Is that courageous, or is that a shameful act of indecent exposure? There were children present at the event. He should be arrested for his actions. Instead, he's been banned from the future events at the White House.

magine for a moment that you are the CEO of Budweiser, the 120th largest company in the world. You've just shed $27 BILLION dollars in market value after promoting transgenderism. What would you do? Would you a) immediately put a halt to all LGBQT initiaves to stave off collapse, or would you b) double down and sponsor a "family friendly" gay pride event, including a drag queen story time for the kiddos?

In a sane world, the answer is obvious, but we do not live in a sane world. There is an undeniably corrupt alliance forming that looks to do to corporate America what the left did to healthcare, education and the government sectory -- a complete takeover.

I'd like to think that in the GOP, ads are fair and deal in truth. I said I'd like to think that, but even in the GOP the means justify the ends, and ads are allowed to shade or distort the truth in order to make a point.

Case in point is the pro-Trump PAC "Maga, Inc.", branding DeSantis as "Ron DeSalesTax" and asserting that he wanted to -- and here's the key word -- add a 23% federal sales tax on the backs of every American. That simply isn't true.

Let's start with the basics. In 2015, then Representative DeSantis co-sponsored a bill called the "Fair Tax" that imposed a 23% federal sales tax on nearly all purchases made nationwide.

According to the leglislation however, that imposition came with a few perks. No federal income tax. Zero capital gains taxes. No death taxes. Corporate taxes would go to zero. No employment or self-employment taxes. When you consider that average marginal tax rates are between 10% and 30%, and that corporate taxes are passed down to consumers, it's easy to see that a 23% federal sales tax...

ust before the Civil War began, a Wisconsin newspaper published a conversation between then-President Abraham Lincoln and a group of religious abolitionists. They were pressing Lincoln to sign what would soon become the Emancipation Proclamation, and Lincoln -- while wanting to set the slaves free -- saw a problem.

From the paper: The committee has returned, and on Saturday evening made a report of their interview with the Prsident to a second meeting of "the religious community" assembled for that purpose. What the President said, one of the delegates told the meeting as follows:

On pressing the policy of emancipation upon the President we received this reply “You remember the slave who asked his master, ‘If I should call a sheep’s tail a leg, how many legs would it have?’

‘Five.’ ‘No, only four; for my calling the tail a leg would not make it so.’ “Now, gentlemen, if I say to the slaves, ‘you are free,’ they will be no more free than at present.”

Lincoln had no issue with freeing the slaves, but he wasn't about to sign them into freedom knowing that his signature on the Emancipation was nothing but ink on paper -- it had no strength to force the South to honor it. The words were there, but they weren't anchored in reality.

We face a similar challenge today. The words that the left has imposed on society have no meaning. On one hand, they state that a man should have no say on the issue of abortion, because they're not a woman, they can't know the issue because it doesn't impact them.
