The news was not what we had hoped for but we learned he’s a great passenger in the car...and he’s obviously learned to handle life “seeing” a different way!

UPDATE. It did not take long for Dr Ringer to determine Cody was born with this eye defect. It is optical nerve damage called optic nerve hypoplasia and nothing can be done to correct or repair this.

I’m sorry we were not able to do anything to help restore his sight.. even somewhat... but now we know he has been his whole life in the dark. But he’s a sweet, well adjusted and loving dog.
