When I started conceptualizing this video, I did not plan to showcase such an intimate moment of my struggles with communication.

I want to put this out there to show you that this is me, failing, but still going for it because this matters to me. If something matters to you, and you're not doing it because you're afraid, I encourage you to try and find the strength to pursue it.

We should all strive to live free from the shackles of irrational fear and live a fulfilling life.

If you are struggling with anxiety or insecurity, come back to this video. Come back and remember that it can be done. That fear is not unconquerable and that you can also be someone else’s inspiration.

Life will always give you a lot of reasons to validate your insecurities. Don’t listen.

Or, perhaps you just want to have a new start in an exotic and unique place in Asia. Whatever it is, I'm thrilled that you are open to change and ready to take such an important step in your life.

In this video, I want to share with you my experience moving to Japan 6 years ago. As an Engineer, I knew that my career could take me to different places worldwide, but I never expected to end up in Japan. I was somewhat aware of the cultural differences and challenges I might face. Still, nothing could prepare me for the life-changing experience of living in the land of the rising sun.

Change is scary, and the idea of becoming an outsider and being far away from what you know can be enough to make you reconsider the most tempting opportunities. But, remember that If you are open to change and are comfortable with the possibility of failure, you will grow beyond anything you can imagine. This fear you are experiencing tells you that you're reaching the boundaries of your comfort zone, and growth lies beyond, so lean in.
