Career Spotlight: From Loyalist College to a Career in Human Resources 🌟

“Put yourself out there, and don’t shy away.”

That’s the advice Michelle Michaud has for today’s students and graduates — and it’s advice she has followed throughout her own career journey.

After university, Michelle wasn’t entirely sure where her path would lead. She decided to pursue Loyalist College’s Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate, gaining practical skills and a strong starting point for her career.

Her journey led her through opportunities in several industries before eventually bringing her to the City Of Quinte West, where she now works as a Human Resources Business Partner.

Looking back, Michelle says that every experience — planned or unplanned — helped shape the professional she is today.
