an esteemed finalist vying for recognition in the realm of social merit, has achieved this distinguished status at the 43rd Paladino d'Oro Sports Film Festival held in Palermo, Italy. The profundity of this achievement is underscored by a poignant reflection on a transformative journey that transpired as a result.

A compelling narrative unfolds, as the harrowing scenes of poverty in Pakistan unfold before me. I traversed the streets, engaging with the local denizens, extending respectful gestures to fellow humans whom I encountered. The ensuing reciprocity of warmth from these individuals subsequently engendered a sense of guardianship toward my presence.

Participation in gatherings graced by Pakistan's privileged strata, the "elite" class, revealed ostentatious tales of transcontinental air travel in the lap of luxury, adorned with ostensible authenticity manifested in five-digit dollar handbags. The discourse encompassed self-aggrandizing declarations of vast employee counts, while I harbored an intimate cognizance of the formidable toil these laborers endured. Initially restrained, I could not resist probing further into their labor conditions, inquiring about remuneration, pension schemes, and the cycle of employing successive generations. My inquiries were met with disconcerted stammers, evident frustration, and ultimately indignation at the audacity of my interrogation.

In an earnest quest to understand the human experience of those ensnared by the cruel clutches of poverty, I embarked on a mission to converse with them. They graciously shared their life's tribulations, displaying an unwavering gratitude toward the divine, particularly on Fridays, when the solace of post-prayer relaxation offered respite. Rarely had I witnessed such unadulterated contentment in the face of adversity.

The impoverished souls, beset by their circumstances, sought counsel and not pecuniary charity from me, emphasizing their yearning for assistance and the possibility of securing pathways to amelioration. This is where I was initiated into the concept of humility, confronted with the poignant reality of infirm children being prescribed sedatives due to the absence of a cure and the heart-wrenching tale of individuals toiling for twelve-hour shifts, earning paltry sums insufficient to meet unforeseen financial exigencies. The stark desperation wrought by poverty was nothing short of nauseating.

Contemplating the specter of depression in a land like America, endowed with abundant resources, in the wake of such abject destitution, left me in a state of profound reflection. I grappled with the overwhelming emotions of confusion and powerlessness, yearning to shield myself from the indelible impact of these observations. However, the impression refused to disengage from my consciousness.

Thus, I ventured back to Pakistan, conceiving the concept of a charitable soccer league that could unite underprivileged youth and the progeny of the privileged class, fostering trust and empowerment through a lifelong camaraderie. The mentors of these teams would hail from Pakistan's elite echelons. Regrettably, my aspirations were shattered, casting me into a nadir of desolation. Returning to America, I was poised to relinquish my dreams.

Yet, at the nadir of my existence, I made a fateful decision to establish a film production company, resolute in my commitment. With a final pilgrimage to Pakistan, the plan metamorphosed once again. Instead of the envisaged comedic show, " ," I was led to produce the film "TeamLadu." The journey, however, was fraught with setbacks, reaching a climax just hours before filming, and yet, I persevered.

In the face of adversity, I sought solace in the divine and was prepared to concede defeat, contemplating a return to America. It was my mother's unwavering insistence that breathed life into my cinematic ambitions, leading to the conception of " ." In a display of unwavering determination, I acquiesced to her counsel while simultaneously booking my return ticket to the United States. Upon the conclusion of filming, I found myself back on American soil, confronted with a film replete with numerous imperfections, prompting extensive rewriting and re-shooting, encompassing a staggering 90% to 95% of the original material.

In profound humility, I express gratitude to the film festival for endowing us with a platform to share our narrative. The gratitude is profound, and I am indebted to the festival for affording us this opportunity.

We were invited by an Indian Film Festival to apply, so applied and won two awards! Best film in our category & a special mention award!

As a film maker and writer I've always tried to promote messages of peace, love and unity between Pakistan and India, as an American film maker who has an American production company, I can voice these messages freely and am absolutely humbled to win these awards in India.

I've watched bollywood films all over the world, desi fans rock the theater! I've seen the audience fall in love, clap at socially liberal ideas, dance along bollywood songs and cry at very human moments in films, so to say im humbled is an understatement, we did our very best for the audience, we graciously accept this honor and vow to continue to make the best films possible and keep you all rocking, if in a theater, on a ott or on your cellphone streaming on any platform!
