IT'S A PIE-NAL WEEKEND 🎉😅

There are more important things than cooking than this weekend.. so grab a pie!

And seriously, nothing is complete at a finals party without a spread of delicious warm and tasty beef pie, sausage rolls & chicken pie!

We are definitely bringing packs of to a finals party. And they are seriously the best tasting pies we have had not we are sure they won't last long 🤣

They are Tasmanian-made, it is flaky, flavoursome and everything you want a pie to be!

authentic thai food at the most loveliest cafe 😍❤

we have been obsessed with this spot since visiting here whilst we were in Bangkok!

The menu is dedicated to thai dishes with dishes being able to be vegan on request!

We had the:
🍜 Pad Thai (of course we would never not order one 😅)
🍈 Pomelo Salad
🦀 Crab Curry
🥗 Vegan Fried Pork Belly Salad
🍹Various Drinks

The outdoor cafe is literally like being in a jungle forest with so many lush green and mossy lake! It is an excellent way to get away from the hustle and hustle of Bangkok city!

Definitely save this spot for your next visit to Bangkok ✨❤

One thing we can always count on is rocking up at Brunetti in Flinders Lane after dinner or a theatre show to have a dessert fix!

It is always so hard trying to decide what to get with the myriad of desserts and sweets available! They always look so good and I swear it takes us a good 10 minutes just to choose!

This time we had the Nutella Rocher and Iced Chocolate 🍫🤤

12 Course Fine Dining On A Plane ✈️

When we saw on TikTok theres a fine dining experience on Lockheed L-1011 Tristar airliner located in a middle on a night market, this was an experience we wanted to do!

And it did not dissapoint!

The inside of the airplane feels "post apocalyptic luxury" and would only make sense if you were there to see for yourself 😅😅

We chose to do the "Mother Tongue" 12 Course Menu which was 3,800 baht per person (approx $166 AUD)
And it was a gastronomic delight! We simply had no words to describe the intricacies of each dish and the flavour explosion it had!

It experience also included a "sketchbook" of each dish that notes ingredients used, any techniques, description of ingredients and flavour profiles and an illustration of the finish dish. 🤩🤩

Service was superb as you would expect for a fine dining spot. The chef and head waiter would present us with each dish and explain the inspiration and story behind it and advice on how to best enjoy the dish.

A truly wonderful experience and highly recommend doing this when you are in Bangkok ❤

🌟MUST VISIT CHEAP EAT IN CORON🌟

📍 Inasal Eats Co.

With so many restaurants in Coron serving Westernised food with a price hike, we still gravitated to a Filipino restaurant and this did not disappoint 😍😍

"Inasal" translates to grilled and barbeque and it is something we can eat all day every day!

We ordered the Pork BBQ with rice which was only 145 pesos (less than $4 AUD). It was well marinated and the drizzle of calamansi just added that extra zest and flavouring.

And for an extra 20 pesos, you can have it with unlimited rice 😂

take me back to paradise ❤

Two days of kayaking, swimming and snorkeling around secluded beaches, lagoons, lakes and coral reefs around Coron Island was absolutely magical.

There are no words to describe what mother nature has given us to admire and appreciate. You simply just have to be there to experience and see it!

Twin Lagoons and Barracuda Lake was a highlight in the tour and highly recommend visiting those places ❤

WE HAVE BEEN HERE 4 TIMES 😆

When you know a cafe is good, it is worth the travel 😁 and we have seriously been here a few times now over the years and we have even brought family & friends ❤️

It is a lovely neighbourhood cafe that does excellent brunch dishes and coffee.

During our latest visit, we ordered:
🥗 POWER BOWL- grilled corn, pickled cabbage, pickled ginger, cucumber, avocado, edamame, sushi & quinoia rice, served with katsu sauce & wasabi mayo with choice of smoked salmon

🌽 CORN ZUCHINNI & HALOUMI FRITTERS- with roquette, honey labnah, dukka, smoked tomato chutney & avocado with bacon

🍹 PINK DRAGON SMOOTHIE- lychee, dragon fruit, raspberry, banana, chia seeds & coconut yoghurt

what we ate at 📍

We absolutely love the night market that holds and our fave one has to be the Hawker 88 Night Market 🎉👌

It is a true celebration of the Asian culture with all the hawker style and street foods of different countries as well as the entertainment 😁

There was an excellent range of options but we couldn't go past these:
✨️ - Inihaw Na Baboy with Kanin and Atchara (Pork BBQ skewers with rice and pickled vegetables) & Inihaw Na Chicken (Chicken BBQ skewers- not pictured).

✨️ - a set of three baos: crispy tofu, fried chicken & roast pork

✨️Spicy Salmon Nori Taco

They are running the event till May 10th on Wednesday nights from 5pm-10pm.

EATING TRAVELLING TIP: Definitely get there early to avoid the crowds as the lines for each stall gets very busy and long! Otherwise get there later at around 8pm when crowds start to lessen. Also, yes it can get hectic and crowded but hey.. that's part of the experience right! 😁😁

WHO ELSE LOVE MACARONS? ❤️

Earlier in July, we went to Dandenong Market for their Bastille Day Celebrations and we discovered ! And we are not the type of people who would see macarons and not treat ourselves with a box!

We had the:
🇨🇵 French Vanilla
🍓 Boysenberry
🍇 Raspberry
🍊 Passionfruit
💚 Pistachio
🍦 Caramilk

We are officially obsessed with these macarons! It is so soft and chewy on the inside with the outside crunch. And the filling is generous and so soft and fluffy and absolutely flavoursome 😍😍😍

They are all home-made by Nusrath and doing what she loves 😁 check out her instagram on how to place an order! Pick up is available from Carrum and delivery also available.

These macarons are seriously the most prettiest! This month, they have a WINTER MIXED BOX available for order so definitely check it out before you miss out!

🌍 Malvern, Melbourne

We knew we were going to get a delicious and flavoursome feed when we could smell the rotating meats as we walked in! 🤤🤤

This brightly lit spot provides excellent Greek and Athenian foods in the local suburb of Malvern! 🇬🇷🇬🇷And we can tell that this place was popular with how busy it was when we went and how often takeaway meals were walking out the door!

There was a great variety of options in the menu choosing from wraps, mixed plates, salad & sides. They even can make dishes gluten free .. so no one misses out!

We ordered (between two people):
🐑 Garlic Lamb Wrap ($14.50)- garlic cheese pita with rocket leaf, tomato, onion & chips

🥘 Mixed Gyros Plate ($24.50)- lamb and chicken gyros with warm pita bread, greek salad, tzatziki and chips

🥗 Politiki Coleslaw Salad- ($9.50)- cabbage, carrot, cranberries, almond radishes, spring onion, green apple and lemon & olive oil dressing

The meats were so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. The garlic cheese wrap on the lamb wrap definitely made this different to other gyros we have had in the past... and this was definitely better! And we cannot rave on how much we enjoyed the coleslaw salad 😍😍 it added freshness, sweet and tangy flavours that complemented out spread!

✨️ EATING TRAVELLING TIP: we asked for feta on top of our chips on the mix gyros plate and absolutely elevated our chips & made it more loaded 😁

Putting it out there, this cafe is the epitome of the Melbourne Brunch scene! 😍😍

This is the second time we have visited and we are always super impressed with how amazing and delicious the dishes we ordered are and we always love the vibe of this spot! 😝😄

This time, we ordered (between two people):
🐄 Brisket ($22.90)- spiced smoked hollandaise over potato hash, a poached egg, hickory-smoked twice cooked brisket, pickle and cabbage slaw, served with charred corn

🥗 Poke Bowl ($21.90)- smoked salmon, avocado rosette, red cabbage, shredded carrot, edame beans, pickled ginger and nori, served on ancient grains and snowpea tendrils salad with a sweet soy dressing

🧇 Nutella Waffle ($10.90)- belgium waffle with fresh strawberries, nutella ganache, marshmallows and icecream

🍉 Red Ruby Detox Juice ($9)- watermelon, apple, beetroot, ginger and mint

We absolutely loved all the dishes we had! And the presentation of the dishes are on point, clearly highlighting how much care and effort are put into the dishes!

The Brisket which is their ✨️Signature Dish✨️ which is definitely a show stopper with its theatrics of smoke when you pull off the cloche!

The menu offers Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options so there is something for everyone!

❤️EATINGS TRAVELLING COUPLE TIP: if the weather does not include rain, definitely sit in their courtyard and admire the stunning mural they have outside! They also have outdoor heaters if it is a chilly day!

✨️ MUST VISIT✨️ BAYSIDE BURGER JOINT!

is seriously epic and we were blown away at how awesome our feed was! 🤯🤯

We had the:
🐥 Seoul Bae ($15)- fried chicken thigh, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, slaw, Korean sweet hot sauce, sesame seeds, toasted milk bun

🍄 Cali Shroom Bae ($15)- Panko crumbed cheddar stuffed mushroom, lettuce, grilled onions, tomato and Cali bae sauce on a toasted milk bun

🧇 Ultimate Chicken Waffle Bae ($14)- Toasted waffle bites, cajun spiced chicken bites, bacon bites, sriracha mayonnaise, maple syrup

🍓 Strawberry Thick Shake Bae- when they say THICCCC they meant it!

This is such a great burger joint and absolutely loved our visit! They have indoor and outdoor dining spots but definitely have to take these down to the beach during the summer time 🏖🏖🍔

✨️YES! MAKE YOUR OWN BRUNCH BOARDS!✨️

If you haven't visited , you are missing out on some amazing Melbourne brunch dishes and coffee!

Located in Little Collins Street, this is an intimate cafe that offers both indoor and outdoor seating in a minimalistic setting.

But we are obsessed with their make your own brunch board 😁 served with unlimited bakery of your choice, you can choose from 4-6 different types of sides from their signature range, meats, eggs and greens!

Our breakfast board consisted of:
🍞 Walnut Sourdough
🍗 Portuguese Style Chicken
🍳 Miso Scrambled Eggs
🥬 Kale
🍅 Sauteed Cheery Tomatoes
🧀 Marinated Feta

We also have other brunch dishes and we had the PORK & BOOTS- pulled pork, poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, pork crackling, spiced red cabbage, beetroot sauce, chives, fried shallots and walnut sourdough! And we were absolutely blown away at how delicious and comforting this dish is 🤯🤯🤯

One of the best coffees we have had is from here! They roast their own coffee beans by the Ninetys Roasting Team in Hong Kong and you can choose from Fruity or Choco ☕️☕️

We absolutely cannot stop raving about this cafe! We absolutely loved the vibes here and dishes and coffee is just perfection 🥰

EASY ASIAN CRANBERRY GLAZED DRUMMETTES WITH WOMBOK SALAD WITH CRANBERRIES 🍗🥗

We have been inspired by the flavours of cranberries and it is easy to incorporate Cranberry products from in your everyday meals!

Now Linc and I love making easy meals and love asian cuisine and we are so excited to share this with you!

This is perfect for weekday dinners and a perfect feed for the whole family 👪

✴️EASY ASIAN CRANBERRY GLAZED DRUMMETTES✴️

Serves 4
Cook Time - 55 minutes

INGREDIENTS
2kg drumettes/winglettes

FOR SAUCE
Jar of Whole Berry Cranberry sauce
2 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
3 tbsp cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Zest & juice from 1 large orange
Juice of 1 medium lime divided

🔅 Whisk together the ingredients for the sauce
🔅Marinate the chicken in half the sauce and set the rest aside. Marinate chicken for atleast 1 hour to overnight
🔅Place the marinated chicken in a baking sheet and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees
🔅Heat the remaining safe and bring to a simmer to thicken it
🔅 Baste the chicken with the sauce every so often and continue to bake
🔅 Serve the chicken with the reduced Cranberry sauce

✴️WOMBOK SALAD WITH CRANBERRIES ✴️

Serves 4
Prep Time- 25 minutes

INGREDIENTS
1/2 Chinese cabbage (wombok) finely shredded
6 green onions sliced
1/2 cup silvered almonds, toasted
1/2 Reduced Sugar Craisins
1 packed fried noodles

DRESSING
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 castor sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup olive oil

🔅 Finely shred the wombol and place in large bowl with the fried noodles, spring onions, craisins and almonds and toss until combined

🔅 Mix dressing ingredients together and pour over salad and toss until salad is fully coated

Using 100% recyclable packaging, you have can have frozen oysters kilpatrick in 15 minutes by simply cooking them in the oven!

It was super delicious, super convenient, premium and eco-friendly! We loved it 🙌

WHO LOVES KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN AND TOPOKKI? 🙌🤗

has opened its first ever store in Australia in Melbourne's Emporium - bringing the best Korean street foods and eats!

We had:

If you wondering what this "Banchan Station Goodies is", this is definitely not to be missed! For $20, you can fill your plate up with as much delicious korean fried snacks as you like!

Everything we had was so delicious! The fried chicken was so tender and crispy and the topokki was super tasty! 👌 we are seriously dreaming about the dishes as we write this! We are definitely returning!

If you are dreaming of the Parisian life eating the most delicious and flakiest croissant that uses traditional French recipe, then you must try these croissants from 🧑‍🍳🥐

We were gifted with the pack d'échantillons which included:

Our minds were totally blown at how delictable these are! You can totally see the layers and the flakiness of the pastry 🤯🤯 totally brought back memories of being in Paris and trying to find the best croissant!

🎉GOOD MELBOURNE FOOD & GOOD TIMES🎉

If you are looking for good food and an excellent brunch spot at Gertrude Street Fitzroy, we highly recommend checking out Arcardia Cafe & Bar 🙌🤩

The menu is super impressive with plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options and the dishes we chose were absolutely delicious! Trust us, there were plenty of smiles from us!

We ordered:
🥞 Ricotta Pancakes (vegetarian)
🍄 Mushroom Medley (vegan/vegetarian)
🍳 Heuvos Rancheros (gluten free)

They also offer bottomless brunch with delicious cocktails! Just add $40pp on any main dish 🍸🍹

With the sunshine out, we ate outdoors and had a lovely time watching the hustle and bustle of Gertrude Street and watching trams past us by.

🎉NEW DESSERT BAR IN MELBS!🎉

There is a new dessert bar in Lygon Street, Carlton and this is another one to visit if you are a sweetooth lover!
australia offerings includes cheesecake on a stick, Dutch mini pancakes, shakes and icecream and they are all a MUST TRY! There are so many different flavours and toppings to choose from!

We had:
🥞 Nutella & Strawberries Pancakes
🍰 Mr Thousand Cheesecake Stick
🥭 Mango Tango Smoothie
🍫 Bueno Suprise Smoothie

They were very generous with their toppings and despite being a busy day with the grand opening, service was still fast and friendly!

We are so happy to see Melbourne alive and starting to thrive again! Defs check them out after a meal out at Lyon Street!

THE PERFECT BALLS OF DELICIOUSNESS! 😍

We are now obsessed with and if you are sweetooth lovers like us, you definitely need to check them out and try one (or more) of their delicious flavours! 😋🤤

These are made fresh to order and is definitely worth the short wait! Imagine them deep frying them donut balls and then watching them drizzle with sauces and toppings... and with each bite you can hear the crunch yet so soft and fluffy on the inside!

We ordered a half / half tray of:
