Phillies are 49-43. Mitch reveals a rampant but relevant animal control issue down in Miami. The bloke Gordon asks, "Its Chewsday innit?" Mitty unearths a smattering of quotes from Phillies, old and new, that boil the blood and warm the heart. Andrew keeps the score on where the lads stand as it pertains to PMI's Preseason Prop Bets. The path to the postseason is laid out with 70 games to play.

Phillies are 46-41. Roles reverse as Andrew fills in the gang on a recent piece of Phillies' current events. Gordon enrolls in summer school and resurrects a lite edition of Phillie, Phriend or Phoe. Mitch, who's seeing stars, paints a word picture of a Schwarber diving catch. PMI's NL All-Star Ballot is filled out.

Phillies are 39-37. Mitch prepares for his upcoming thumb transplant and proves that he's all hands on deck. Gordon further cements his identity as an old man in a young man's body. Andrew suggests that we collectively climb the proverbial trust tree and requests for his co-hosts to put the Phillies' bullpen under the microscope. PMI's AL All-Star Ballot is filled out and submitted (NL will be released next episode).

Andrew avoids gloating about the streaking Yanks and questions the merits of in-game mic'd up players. The crew discusses: the potency of the Mets; the greater potency of Kyle Schwarber against the Mets; "who's back" for the Phillies. The question is asked: How many cheesesteaks could you eat over the approximate length of four baseball games? And who exactly is the manager of the Colorado Rockies?”

Andrew is back in the proverbial saddle, ready to discuss the merits of the familiar "Give a Penny, Take a Penny" system; Mitch and Gordon put forth game headlines and analysis leading up to what will be the biggest week of the Phillies rollercoaster season. The Phillies playoff hopes are assessed, with Opti-Mitty and Pessi-Mitty both making appearances. This episode is definitely not brought to you by Gordon's internet provider.

In the 13th episode, the gang ponders how many episodes we need until we're legit. Mitch has his co-hosts try their hand at putting the Phillies in order, by WAR. A farewell is given to Sweet Rhys. We spend probably too much time reveling in the misery that is the New York Mets.

Covering the Braves to Dodgers series (7/22-8/12): Headlines include "Gib Thanks," "In Full Broom," and "Bust a Cutch." Andrew does his very best to co-opt the podcast for all things Yankees. Gordon starts putting his affairs in order given how many prop bets he's going to lose. The Dombrowski Debrief is delved into. Mitch flounders back and forth between Optopod(TM) and Pessimitty(TM).

Gordon calls into question the newly-minted "Manager's Decision", currently being employed by Joseph Elliott Girardi. Andrew fanboys for CC Sabathia, laments the Yankees' tendency for the GIDP, and doubles down on his bets in the upcoming Phillies-Yankees series.
