We started here with Kilakokonutkrew Tufuga Stacey Leilua, Anapela Polataivao and the many beautiful actors in the first Taro King. We returned with the Taro King remount in 2012, at the Mangere Arts Centre with the Kila Kokonut Krew team Glen Jxn Jackson and the many beautiful young actors in this video. Taro King was inspired when I worked at the Otara Food World supermarket, and the characters there gave me the energy and the drive to write my first play. Looking back with happiness.
