Bravo Tom Hanks. In a welcome trend, another Hollywood celebrity has spoken up against the woke mob. Tom Hanks declared his opposition to the movement to rewrite classic books to remove anything that might offend modern delicate PC sensibilities, such as is being done to the novels of Roald Dahl, Agatha Christie and Ian Fleming. Hanks told NBC News: “I’m of the opinion that we’re all grown-ups here. Let’s have faith in our own sensibilities as opposed to having somebody decide what we may or may not be offended by. Let me decide what I am offended by and what I’m not offended by. I would be against reading any book from any era that says ‘abridged due to modern sensitivities.’” See the full article below.
