👀👀👀👀 *taps mic* we're FINALLY working on season 2 of Small Talkin' . After almost a 4 month hiatus we're getting back to recording. Today we did a 15 minute episode that'll be played later this week at Ashley's family reunion.

Thanks to all our family & friends that remind us and make jokes 🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♀️. We deserve it but we're back working! New STwTL episodes in July we promise!! 💪🏾🎧 🎤.

Today - I'm thankful for my husband that lovingly pushes and motivates me 24/7, 365 days - he gives me no days off yall 🥴🤣

and I discovered early on in our relationship that when we have a common goal, that we work on TOGETHER, our relationship and how we interact with one another is just overall better 🥰❤️

Pushing me to be the best version of myself, motivating me to continue on my journey of deciphering my life's purpose and loving me deeply at the same time are things I am thankful 🙏🏾🙌🏾 for more than anything.

We've heard the saying a million times, "never go to bed mad" but let's be honest, sometimes we'd be up for days at a time if we didn't go to bed upset a time or two 🥴🤣

While going to bed upset with your love is not ideal, sometimes it's simply the wiser option to hush and go to bed than to stay awake annoyed!

What's the best marriage advice I've ever received you ask?? Timing is everything - choose wisely!! Every opinion and thought DOES NOT need to be voiced and a response is not always necessary in the moment!

I'm guilty of wanting to hash things out and make up immediately 😏😻; my husband, not so much 😈 Stepping away from the situation, clearing your head and taking a fresh approach does The Larges good ❤

If the pandemic 😷 didn't do anything else, it gave us 3 years to work on our communication skills. Both of our jobs sent us home fully remote in March of 2020. We had only been married 16 months... and now we had to look at 👀 and hear👂🏽 each other all day every day... Life Got Real - Real Fast!!

Here's the 3 areas we focused on during the pandemmy 😷.

🔸️Learning when to talk & when to listen. Most conversations become arguments when one person talks all over the other.

🔸️Seeing the signs when your spouse needs space and allowing them space without attitude on back end.

🔸️Learning how to disagree peacefully. Every disagreement doesn't have to go to level 10🤬

Yooooo whaddup good people!! It's me, TeeLarge, your co-host of Small Talkin' with The Large's (STwTL) Since wifey & I are launching this youtube show.... guess I need to drop a bio for those that don't know me.

I'm a Midwest kid... born in Peoria, IL, raised in Indianapolis, In and spent my childhood summers at grandma's house in Centralia, IL. 

I spent my college years at UAH in Huntsville, AL. I interned at the radio station  (103.1 WEUP) and worked sneaker retail (Finish Line, Hibbetts, DSG) until my professional career in Recruiting/HR took off.

I have 4 kids. My oldest Lailah lives in Indianapolis with her family. Maya, Tyler & Kayden all split time between their mother & us. I love being a DAD....no two days are the same 🥰...and my kids are good & crazy!

I love sneakers, hoodies, football, and trying to turn my ADHD into a superpower. I also love the woman I married.. she's my wife, best friend and partner in foolishness 🤣🤣🤣🤣 which is why we launched this project together.

I'm excited about this journey into YouTube/podcasting with my Queen🥰😘. I don't know what to expect... maybe for ya'll to realize how crazy my wife is 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙃.
