Braemore is an Estate/Hill Station situated around 50 kms, North East of Trivandrum, While travelling from Trivandrum at Palode Junction, needs to take a right turn towards Peringammala, then on to Idinjar and will reach Mankayam Forest Check post. Here you should take entry pass, Braemore is 8 kms from Mankayam, and route towards is surrounded with Forest having thick population of Elephants and wild animals. ENTRY only in between 8AM to 5PM for Day travellers. Braemore Estate was Established on AD 1800 by Europeans, The name "BRAEMORE" adopted from England, Hampshire a small picturesque village Braemore, named because of the same climatic and nature conditions.
