"We Filipinos love to eat anything fried, from fish, pork vegetables and anything that goes into hot steaming oil. We have this perception that everything that’s cooked with oil makes it taste better as it enhances the flavour of the food.
Gourmet tofu started when I was I Dubai working as an OFW, when morning breakfast became boring. Till one day, I was craving for “”Binurong isda” but it’s not available I UAE market. That’s why I decided to experiment and make the Gourmet Tofu and surprisingly, my friends liked it
At first, it was just like our regular side dish to compliment anything that’s fried or with rice. Then, my friends because more experimental and they are trying it with salad, bread, and they even paired it with their soups. That’s when they encourage me to start selling it.
I research about it and only to find out that no one in the Philippines offer this kind of product. So, I decided to give it a shot after receiving good feedback from the people who tried it."
