This morning, a member of the born-again Christian denomination messaged me, expressing inspiration from the content on this personal page. Intrigued, I began asking him about his encounter with God. To my amazement, he shared that during his teenage years, someone gave him a book—'The Great Controversy' by Ellen White, which profoundly impacted him.

I extended an invitation to him for an online Bible study and prayer session. Please whisper a prayer for both this precious individual and me as we commence our online Bible study journey.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬?

Do you remember Peter and Paul proclaiming the Gospel and defending its integrity in an era of polytheism and pagan superstition? Literally, hundreds of thousands of ordinary believers were infiltrating every aspect of society, and 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 that evoked curiosity in the Christian message.

They devoted themselves to sacrificial acts of kindness. They loved their enemies and forgave their persecutors. They cared for the poor and fed the hungry. In the brutality of life under Roman rule, they were the most stunningly different people anyone had ever seen. Indeed, their influence was so surprising that even the fourth-century Emperor Julian (AD 331-363) feared that they might take over the empire. Referring to Christians as “atheists” because they denied the existence of pagan gods, and believing their religion to be a sickness, he penned this directive to his officials:

Julian was concerned that the Christians’ acts of hospitality and philanthropy were winning too many of his subjects. He decided to launch an offensive against them by mobilizing his
officials and the pagan priesthood to out-love the Christians. He decreed that a system of food distribution be started and that hostels be built for poor travelers. He wrote:

Perhaps not surprisingly, Julian’s new social program utterly failed. He couldn’t motivate pagan priests or Roman officials to care that much for the poor. He failed to realize that the Christians were filled with the Holy Spirit of love and motivated by his grace. The message they shared—that God loved the world—was patently absurd to the average Roman. The pagan gods cared nothing for humankind. And yet in the miserable world of the Roman Empire, the Christians not only proclaimed the mercy of God, they demonstrated it. They not only fed the poor, they welcomed all comers regardless of their ethnicity. They promoted liberating social relations between the sexes and within families. The nobleman embraced the slave. They were literally the most surprising alternative society, and their conduct raised an insatiable curiosity among the average Roman. You can see how the proclamation of the gifted evangelists would have been far more effective among a society of people 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨.

𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲

Hi, it's been a while, and now I am back. I have something to tell you if you have time to read this.

Since 2020, amidst the pandemic, the Lord led me to digital evangelism, where He molded me into the person I am today. Venturing into this new realm of ministry taught me invaluable life lessons. I learned how to moderate social media accounts, delve into email marketing, conduct online Bible studies, offer prayers for others online, provide pastoral counseling, and much more. To be honest? At first, it all seemed trivial to me. I prayed earnestly for God to help me see the beauty of this ministry and the preciousness of the souls I encountered online.

The journey wasn't easy, but the Lord was gracious, guiding me through this unfamiliar territory. He showed me the significance of the spiritual content we create and the impact it can have on the lives of those who engage with it through comments, likes, or reactions.

Speaking of those who interact on social media, to some, they may just be digital personas, but I realized they are human beings too. They feel and react because they have emotions. From then on, every time I engaged on social media, despite my human weaknesses, I endeavored to influence for good (BTW, for those who know me, if I've posted or engaged in a way that may not be good for you or others, forgive me and pray that God will transform me completely.)

Reflecting on my experiences in the digital space, I've found joy in connecting with people online—offering online Bible studies, praying for them, providing pastoral counseling, and exploring more ways to serve them online.

In recent weeks, I've been pondering and questioning God: Kumusta na ako ngayon? Is my work here enough? If not, what else should I do? Then, God impressed upon my heart the need to be more intentional. I asked Him how, and then...lo and behold, an encounter with a particular social media post caught my attention. It featured someone selling a book—the Desire of Ages. And I thought, "Wow, that's amazing."

That night, I had a dream. I found myself in a dark room, with a faint light illuminating a book in the left corner—the Desire of Ages. To cut a long story short, I began reading the Desire of Ages online. While reading, a question emerged in my mind: Why not share this book with others? And so, my journey as a Literature Evangelist or LE began.

Yes, you heard it right. I prayed and committed myself to sharing more about God and His love through our literature while spending most of my time online. Yes, it's beneficial for my daily needs, but above all, it's my way of expressing gratitude, offering praise, and doing God's mission to others.

They were waiting for their mother to bring food for them but obviously the mother was killed. 😭

Listen! Every time you fight someone, you are also fighting their dependents.

Don't be the reason why someone is in pain.

Don’t kill someone else’s dream just because you don’t agree with their ideas.

Words have power, they can bring either life or death. Instead of discouraging someone, support them with encouraging words.

Because in the end, you’re not gonna pay for their bills. Don’t be the reason why they quit on their dreams!

Life is like the intricate and fascinating details found in this tree bark. Each line and curve tells a story of growth, struggle, and resilience. Just like this tree, we all experience the ups and downs of life, but it is through these challenges that we grow and become stronger.

In James 1:2-4, it says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

May we all find the strength and courage to face the challenges that come our way, and may we always remember that through our struggles, we can emerge stronger and more resilient, just like this beautiful tree.

Flowers teach us an important lesson about faith and trust. In Matthew 6:28-29, Jesus says that the flowers of the field do not worry about their existence or future, yet they bloom beautifully. We can learn from their example and trust in God's provision and care for us. Flowers remind us of the beauty and diversity of God's creation and encourage us to appreciate the simple yet profound lessons in life.

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

As I walked outside this afternoon to breathe in the fresh air, I decided to fly my drone and capture the beauty of the sky.

As I flew my drone high into the sky, I was amazed at the incredible beauty of the world below. The colors and textures of the clouds were stunning, and the way the sun shone through them created an otherworldly atmosphere.

It's moments like these that remind me of the greatness of God and His handiwork in creating such a magnificent world. In Psalm 104:24, it says "How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures." Indeed, every detail of creation is a reflection of God's creativity and love.

May we all take the time to stop and marvel at the wonders of creation, recognizing the greatness of God in every detail.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭!

Darkness can come in many forms throughout life, and it can be difficult to navigate. It's easy to feel lost or uncertain when faced with questions that seem to have no answer. However, as followers of Jesus, we have hope even in the midst of darkness. We can trust in God's love and guidance to lead us through difficult times, and we can find comfort and peace in His presence. By focusing on the light of Christ, we can overcome the darkness and find purpose and meaning in our lives.

Group worship provides an opportunity to come together and worship God with other believers, but personal devotion helps you to establish a deeper relationship with God on an individual level.

In Matthew 6:6, Jesus says, "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." This Bible verse emphasizes the importance of private prayer and devotion. It's in these private moments that we can fully focus on God without distractions and listen to His voice.

Additionally, personal devotion allows you to study the Bible and meditate on God's word in a more intimate setting. You can ask God to reveal His truths to you and guide you in your daily life. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." When we study the Bible and spend time with God, we can gain direction and clarity in our lives.

Ultimately, having personal devotion in addition to group worship is vital for spiritual growth. It helps us to deepen our relationship with God, gain a better understanding of His word, and receive personal guidance and direction. So, make it a priority to set aside time for personal devotion each day, and watch as your relationship with God flourishes.

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐌𝐞, 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐈'𝐦 𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫?

Have you ever felt like you're too far gone, too broken, too sinful to be accepted by God? Maybe you've made mistakes in your past that you're not proud of, or you feel like you've strayed too far from the path of righteousness. But the good news is that no matter what you've done, God is always ready to welcome you back with open arms.

In the Bible, we see countless examples of God's love and forgiveness for sinners. One such example is found in Luke 15:11-32, where Jesus tells the parable of the prodigal son. In this story, a wayward son squanders his inheritance on wild living, but eventually comes to his senses and returns to his father's house, hoping only to be hired as a servant. Instead, his father runs to meet him, embraces him, and throws a lavish feast to celebrate his return.

This parable is a powerful reminder that no matter how far we've strayed from God, He is always ready and willing to forgive us when we repent and turn back to Him. As it says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

So if you're feeling like you're too much of a sinner to be accepted by God, remember that His love and forgiveness are greater than any sin we could commit. All we need to do is confess our wrongdoing and ask for His forgiveness, and He will welcome us back into His loving arms.

It is important to remember that just because we prioritize God in our lives, it does not mean that everything we ask for will be granted immediately. The timing and manner in which our prayers are answered may not align with our own plans and desires.

There could be various reasons why you have not received the opportunities you have asked for. Perhaps God has something else in store for you that you are not aware of yet, or perhaps you are being tested and strengthened through the waiting process. It is also possible that the opportunities you have asked for may not align with God's plan for your life.

In any case, it is important to trust in God's plan for our lives and to have faith that everything will work out for the best. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

But I want to remind you today that no matter what, God is still with you. He has never left your side, and He never will.

The beauty of our faith is that it offers us a second chance, a chance to start anew and to become the best version of ourselves. When we turn to Jesus and ask for His forgiveness, He doesn't judge us or condemn us. Instead, He accepts us with open arms and invites us to walk with Him on the path of righteousness.

So I encourage you today, no matter what struggles you may be facing, to hold on to your faith and trust in God's love and mercy. Remember that He is always with you, guiding you and supporting you every step of the way. Let His love be the light that shines in the darkness, and let His grace be the strength that carries you through life's challenges.

In closing, I want to leave you with these words of encouragement from Psalm 23: "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

God desires to dwell in the hearts of His people and transform them into His image. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that God's character can be reflected in the lives of believers.

While it is true that brokenness and humility can lead us to rely more fully on God, He does not require us to be broken before He can shine through us. God's grace and love are available to all who seek Him with a sincere heart, and He can work in and through us regardless of our circumstances or state of mind. It is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we can experience His transforming power in our lives and become vessels of His light to the world.

Have you ever felt stuck in life, unsure of what direction to take or how to move forward? Maybe you're facing challenges or obstacles that seem insurmountable, and you're tempted to give up. But I want to encourage you today with a powerful truth from the Bible: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

Friend, you are not alone. No matter what you're facing, you have a source of strength that is greater than any obstacle. As you face these challenges, I want to encourage you to draw near to God and seek His help. Here are some practical tips to help you connect with God and tap into His strength:

First, focus on the big picture. When we're facing difficulties, it's easy to get bogged down in the details and lose sight of our goals. But when we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, we gain a new perspective. We remember that our ultimate goal is to glorify God in everything we do. When we focus on Him, we find the strength and direction we need to keep moving forward.

Second, lean on your community. As believers, we are part of the body of Christ. We were not meant to face our struggles alone. When we surround ourselves with other believers, we find encouragement, support, and accountability. We can share our struggles with others, and they can pray for us, lift us up, and help us stay motivated.

Third, practice gratitude. When we cultivate a heart of gratitude, we are acknowledging that everything we have comes from God. We recognize His goodness and faithfulness in our lives, and we are reminded that He is the source of our strength. As we give thanks to God for all He has done for us, we are filled with hope and joy, even in the midst of our struggles.

Remember, no matter what you're facing, God is with you. He loves you and He wants to help you. With His strength, you can do all things. So keep pushing forward, and never give up.
