This should make it easier for listeners who want to backtrack and listen to portions of the podcast without guessing where it may be!!! There’s no build up to this...... no teasers..... today marks the first episode of season 3. It will only be about 10 episodes, but a very different setup.

I will be reading through a book in an Audible-style, audio book format. This series will be great for pastors, ministry students, and all those volunteering at church. There is certainly something in here for everyone, but it’s initial target is those in ministry....... it will be a blessing!! !!!!!!!

This summer I had every intention of continuing production on a delayed schedule.... but haven’t been able to keep up with my intended plan.

This summer has thrown me some curve balls and at this moment I can’t tell you when the next episode will drop...... but I want to assure you that there is more to come...... it will just be a few weeks still. (Believe it or not, There’s still a lot to talk about with regard to AHAZ and Isaiah😀😀)

There was a 4 part message from God to King Ahaz: Be Careful, Be Quiet, Don't Fear, and Don't lose heart. In the past two episodes we covered "Be Careful" and addressed the fear and losing heart issues. This episode tackles the "Be Quiet Statement". Quite possibly one of the most difficult things for us humanoid's to do!!!

This episode starts in Alaska, jumps back in time to Joshua and Jericho, bypasses Isaiah 7 to hit a verse or two in James, at which point in time we will be ready to hit Isaiah 7:4.

Christian headlines reports that the best-selling book in 2023 was the Bible, but you likely won’t find it on any best-seller lists. The reasons for that vary, but according to The New Yorker, the Bible is quote “the best-selling book of the year, every year.” In 2006, per the New Yorker, the amount spent annually on Bibles has been put at more than half a billion dollars. According to Guinness World Records, the Bible is the best-selling book of all time.

George Barna says 88% of Americans own a Bible, and most own multiple copies. While that’s impressive and even encouraging, the big question is whether Americans who own a Bible actually read it, and more importantly do they believe it and live according to its teachings?

With over 5 billion copies sold, the Bible remains earth’s most-read book. But the world in which we read and engage with the Bible is rapidly changing.

Do you read it? Do you retain it? Is this really an important enough question to ask?

For the next two episodes we sit down with Nate Vianio, the host of Something to Gnaw on Podcast, and we talk about the relevance of God's Word for today. Should you study it and hold close the scriptures to your heart?
