It's All Fake

We are living in a time where false information is being created every day. The advent of artificial intelligence has added to this problem immensely. There is a picture of Travis Kelce floating around the internet in which he is wearing a Trump T-shirt. That picture is fake. If you see that picture, the image below is the correct picture of him. In the fake picture, there is no wrinkle in his T-shirt and the bottom of his T-shirt is straight. Also note that the fake letters do not follow the contour of the T-Shirt. They were obviously added by photo editing software.

As we move further into this election year, let's make sure that we are challenging information to make sure that if we post socio-political images and memes, make sure that you are posting the truth.

Too many images on social media are forgeries that are driving emotions wild. If you are a are a responsible person of good conscience. do not be so quick to repost images that look suspicious.

I can't say it enough. There are too many people creating fake images to try to make hollow points. At some time "we the people" must stand up and demonstrate integrity for our children. We must stop sharing these memes that we know are false. You can tell a lie and you can share a lie. In either case, you are still a liar.

We are currently facing a magnitude of socio-political problems like we have never seen in the history of our country. The problems emanate from lies that have been told in the past. It is now time to face the facts and stop spreading the lies.

I am good at finding the fakes. There are a lot of people who are creating fake imagery to mislead you. You must be very careful on what you share. Sharing a fake image on social media makes you a part of the societal problems of late and if there is a racist implication, you may be also spreading racism.

All it takes is a little common sense where you ask yourself, "would a person really say such a thing?"

I am strongly against using fake photos to denigrate anyone. One should never stoop to this level because of political differences. This forger attemps to convince you that Donald Trump's parents are wearing K*K gowns. The actual photo is on the right.

I can usually find the Photoshop forgeries. Now, let's return to a place of decency. You can debate conservative and liberal strategies, but if your debate is based on misleading propaganda, demagoguery, or just plain deceit, you really don't have a debate and your position then is the weaker one. Take a position, take a stand, but let that position be based on the best that your upbringing and education can demonstrate. This kind of propaganda demonstrates the worst of human character.

You see a lot of these sign forgeries. They are created by copying some of the letters from the sign and creating a new message with Photoshop. All of these images are created by persons of poor character.

These kind of forgeries are common. They appeal to people who want something for nothing. They promise money if you repost them but if you slow down and think about it, there is no way for anyone to know that you reposted the image.

When I say this picture I was sure that it was forged from a picture of the President kissing his wife. It turned out that I was right.

This forgery was obvious. I felt that President and First Lady Obama were too astute to know that the United States flag should not be worn as clothing. It took some work to find the original picture but yes, I found it.
