The 12th Annual HarvestSHARE is the Eastside inviting all of Denver to take a walk on the East5ide social easin’ a HEAL vibe to celebrate belonging and healing among those who have been 5 Points displaced and those that have remained for generations.
HarvestSHARE is the Eastside Denver community inviting the Greater Denver Metro area to social ease and celebrate belonging and healing with family and friends. HarvestSHARE is a community gathering where people bring excess harvest from their gardens to share with neighbors and HEAL the community by engaging Healthy Eating Active Living activities to generate Random Gestures of Compassion in Denver parks.
Samba-Rade 12pm begins at Wyatt Academy at 3600 Gilpin Street, Denver, Colorado 80205
Come join the Samba-Rade to kick off the 12th Annual HarvestSHARE with a Conga Drum line leading the way from Wyatt Academy to the Bring the Peace Block Party in George Morrison Sr. Park to the COSC BASIC Project Gospel Revival Tent in Frederick Douglas Park to the MACM 303 Basketball and Chess Tournament in Fuller Park and ending with an Afro-Cuban Samba Dance Party at Moyo Nguvu‘s Ngoma: Art of the Drum in Madame CJ Walker Park.

Bring or Borrow a Drum for our featured guest artist from Los Muñequitos de Matanzas a Cuban rumba ensemble from the city of Matanzas! This year will also feature local Brazilian drumming ensemble led by Vincent Gonzalez for a Samba line and percussion class.
