I couldn't decide on a graphic... But then I remembered I don't have to!
To those who enjoy the holiday in any form, Happy Halloween!
To those who do not care for it, whatever the reason, Happy Sunday!
It's the back leg tuck that does it for me 😍🐾
Question for you:
Do you find high pitched noises soothing?
I do not. And lately when I am stressed or unfocused, I have been experimenting with "calming" playlists to try and settle my mind, and the music often has screechy, repetitive noises in it, like whistles, chimes, and wind instruments.
I think it's supposed to be like natural environment kind of soothing vibe, but honestly it makes me want to throw something through a window. Its infuriating haha!
But I am finding it's super common on these playlists, I have tried my meditation app, spotify, and youtube, all of them lean heavy into the high pitched tones. So to me that means that people enjoy those noises?
So I am curious, who do I know that finds high pitched noises soothing? And also, who knows of "calming" playlists that do NOT include high pitched noises?
P.S. If you want to know what kind of sounds bring me right back down to earth: Its the gurgling of water on dry ice 😍
It's over 90°F in Portland today.
So Hatchet and I headed to a higher altitude for a little relief (this park is the highest point in Portland, I am told).
And his buddy Buto and his Uncle Benny joined us. Hatchet can spot them from a mile away.
I love his face when he runs this fast. Pure joy.
*Don't worry, that road is only the entrance into the park, people drive 5mph on it, and I checked to make sure it was clear before I let him run over there.*
How do you guys beat the heat?
