Want your business to be the top-listed Media Company?
I’m not much for talking about myself, so this will be short. I’m Nancy Wisgerhof and I live with my husband, 2 horses and 3 Maltese pups in beautiful Florida. I have volunteered as a social media specialist for several years and I’ve learned a lot about making simple graphics for our posts and tweets and videos. When I retired from my paying job, I searched for activities that would keep me fulfilled. When a friend suggested I start a blog, I explored the possibilities, but didn’t feel I had enough expertise in any field that anyone would care to hear my opinions or guidance. Still, I kept feeling the urge to create some sort of blog.
One day, as I searched for a quick graphic to illustrate a post for church one day, it was like God rapped me on the head and said “Hellooo in there! When are you going to realize that your blog topic is right in front of you?” And it hit me that there are plenty of others who coordinate their church’s social media who don’t have the time or resources to create the graphics. I love making my own graphics (especially now that I have more time!) and many have complimented me on them, so I think others will be able to benefit from the graphics I make.
And so, my blog, dancesinthelight.com, is focused on providing free graphics under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs license. You may download the graphics created by Dances In the Light and share them with others as long as you credit my blog, but you can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.
