About 15 years ago, Tim purchased a basketball sized (unoccupied) paper wasp nest on eBay! He separated it into squares of paper about 2 - 4 inches in size and bonded them into a parchment using Elmer's glue diluted with water. He then lettered out his poem 'BUGS' on it with a felt-tip calligraphy pen.

Tim shared this fascinating story and the framed said parchment at the launch of his children's book BUGS.

On a journey that started in 2007, the delay to officially launch BUGS today on Amazon is but a little hiccup!

BUGS by Tim Robinson is uploaded to Amazon but since there's now another layer of owner verification needed on the platform, the book shows as 'Currently Unavailable' until it's verified. Hopefully within the week or less.

In spite of this, it looks like one can still write a review so we would still appreciate those positive reviews from you.

It takes a village to launch a book, and in this case, that includes an abundance of organisational and creative talent under the same roof!

The BUGS book launch at Cedar House was perfect in every way, and if you're looking for a beautiful multi-purpose venue for private meetings, daytime retreats or small gatherings, you know you're in very capable hands with Dave & Karen Robinson of Creative Interfaces. If you just need creative direction for a project or event, this is the couple you need to get in touch with!

Rounding out the power team is Annemarie, Tim's wife. Her loving energy and infectious smiles kept the kids happy with bug related activities on the porch 🦋🐝🐞

There may have been rain, but that didn't deter the hive of activity at Cedar House for the launch of BUGS 🐞 by Tim Robinson.

Wonderful to see Casia's beautiful original artwork propped on ledges all around the house that gave a vibrant glow & warmth to the event.

So many turned up with love & support and listened as Tim did a lovely reading of his book. Interviewed by Dave, Tim shared his inspiration and journey writing BUGS 🐞❤️

They're here! The shipment just arrived from the printer and they look good!

It started with a sweet poem called Bugs ~ written by Tim Robinson. Brought to life with the wonderful illustrations by artist Casia Joy, it is now offered as a children's book.
We're hoping kids of all ages get to read and enjoy 'BUGS'🐛🐜🐞.

It started with Tim's fascination with bugs. Which led to him writing a sweet poem, and getting beautiful illustrations commissioned from Casia Joy Art

A labor of love that we are in the midst of collating and will soon go into print. We're calling it a children's book but think it'll also be a wonderful coffee table addition.
