We are a mother daughter team who talk about books from all angles and enjoy boozy drinks related to the book as we talk!
As the year comes to an end, we are thinking about our podcast. We are going to take a short hiatus to make a few fun changes. Life sure does take twists and turns. Maybe that is why The Housemaid by Freda McFadden sticks out as a book I could read again. Have you read it? If not, I highly recommend it. And don’t forget to listen to our episodes about the books. As usual, we twist and turn a little too!

We have read so many books for this podcast. Each episode is like one of our children so I can’t pick a favorite! But The Winemaker’s Wife is one that stands out for me. Before that wonderful book by Kristin Harmel, historical fiction was not my go-to genre. If you haven’t read that book, I highly encourage it! Be sure to listen to our episodes as you read. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Mant will be reading a few different books for the next little while. We will take a short break as we welcome a new little reader to the world!
