Last night was a brilliant display from our boys! Blowing away the opposition with beautiful play!

It was very very hard to single out just 2 guys for the Man of the Match awards, but after long thought congrats to Roky and Max who absolutely smashed it!

After a mental week last week and weekend , with players coming in and going out .... mainly out , we started off with a big game vs Zagreb in the premiership.

With some lads having a point to prove , other lads in new positions.... it all come together.
6-1 winners with Robertson clearly angry about his country’s performance earlier in the day at the euros , the Scottish man banging in 4 goals , briggzy getting one and negative Dee banging in a goal ... although he’s so negative he refuses to claim it !!
Shout out to perky in his new role in CAM with a couple of assists as well.

2nd game vs Atalanta was a strange one , whilst they dominated possession we had the better chances and took the lead through Robertson banging in his 14th of the season.
Atalanta equalised following our own mistake at the back and the game finished 1-1.

Tonight’s final games of the week sees us up against Deaf Phoenix in the league and FLC Royal team 8 in the cup.
It has been a mixed week of results for Dortmund some highs and some lows. Some new players have come in and some players have left.
The latest player to leave is Ryan , the club doctor detected a serious case of chlamydia in his urine sample and told the club officials he must be released as his bollox look like 2 Ferrero rochets.

Week 2 of FLC is here and tonight we play 2 very strong teams in Ajax and El Fuego.
The Dortmund squad decided to go on a team bonding exercise over the past weekend, we wanted to go Marbella but couldn’t because covid wouldn’t let us fly........ So we ended up in morecambe !!
And whilst the weekend started well , soon the alcohol kicked in and there was many fights resulting in a couple of players leaving the club for various reasons .... one involving a cucumber that we won’t get into.
So few people have left and few people have now been signed .... and on we go !!!

Our final league game of the week and we came up against the mighty Real Madrid.
We started well and took the lead through Robert Robertson.
Madrid then equalised with a fantastic chipped pass which had our whole team just staring at its beauty landing at the feet of their striker who slotted it home.
Just before half time Madrid were reduced to 10 men , and that gave us a big lift.
Second half we made the extra man count and ran out 4-1 winners , Cambo scoring again to finish a great 1st week for him , And Robert Robertson finishing the game with the match ball after slotting home a hat-trick.
There are rumours Real Madrid have been in touch with the FA and demanded a p**s test on Robertson as apparently they sent a couple of scouts to watch us pre season , and don’t believe for one minute it’s the same player.

2nd game of the night was our first round cup game against Juarez academy from the 3rd division.
Maybe we thought it was going to be easy , but soon realised it wasn’t as we went into half time 2-0 down.
It finished 2-2 after 90 mins and we managed to find a winner in extra time with the game finishing 3-2.

Tonight’s final league game of the week sees us come up against 3rd placed Real Madrid , just 2 points separates 2nd - 10th in the premiership , so a victory and 3 points would be a huge result.

And then we have been drawn against FC Juarez Academy in the first round of the cup to finish our first week back in FLC.

🚨 Match day 2 RESULTS 🚨

Our 2nd night of FLC saw us come up against a strong Belfast City , first half we started off well but our own silly mistakes gave away chances , one of which Belfast managed to put away.
Just before half time Cambo latched onto a through ball and opened his account for the season.
A second half of ooohs and ahhs and almost moments from both teams ended in nobody scoring , so in the end a 1-1 result was fair.

Our 2nd game we came up against Rent free who had a very strong opening night.
I would like to point out the referee in this game was on a comedown from the night before where he had clearly sniffed a sh*tload of beak and was rough as f**k , therefore he couldn’t be arsed making correct calls and just kept pointing to the penalty spot. Rent free had 2 penalty’s in this game , one they scored and one they missed via a great save form our keeper Jona.
Rent free had the better of the 1st half and went into the break 2-0 up.

In the second half our captain had a great idea , he said “ that referee is on a comedown someone go give him a line of beak , which our captain did, then the referee was on our side and gave us the daftest penalty ever witnessed on a game of fifa. Robert Robertson slotted it away for his 2nd goal this season and it was game on.
Late on in the game Cambo latched on to another through ball and smashed it home to seal a point for the mighty Dortmund, final score 2-2.
Lessons learned from the night !!
