The "Re-Invention" That Transformed My Life
When I had my “come to Jesus” meeting I had with myself just after showering naked in the church parking lot…
The pain was so great, and I was so completely fed up with where I was in my life, I made some serious decisions.
I said to myself…
work as hard as you have to work in order to NEVER be in this situation again.
, learn whatever you have to learn in order to NEVER be in this situation again.
invest whatever you have to invest in order to NEVER be in this situation again.
Because I had been exposed to personal development (but never made it a huge priority) I understood that my situation was my own doing.
And that if I wanted to change my situation, I had to change myself.
Well, I had no real financial opportunity at the moment and no real mentor to follow.
But I decided I could model Tony Robbins and start investing heavily into my own personal development.
I had very little money then but I made a decision that the investment into my mind should become my #1 priority.
I remember thinking to myself, even if I have to go $500,000 in debt to learn the secrets of success, it would be the best investment I could possibly make.
I’d read a new book, on average, every 2 or 3 days.
As my commissions started coming in, rather than putting that money towards new clothes or other things, I’d invest in courses and audio programs.
When I could afford a place to live, rather than moving into some place fancy, I rented a room from a guy and would invest my money into events and coaching.
From the age of 21 to 24, I went from homeless, $30,000 in debt and living out of my little, red, beat-up Honda Civic…
To earning a six-figure income and living what was, at the time, my dream lifestyle...
At 25, I started earning as much as $40,000 per month…
Then by the age of 29, I had over $1 million in the bank.
It was one hell of a transformation.
